Not only the video is damaged with qr code, which by the way is precised when you read carefully the application note.
But the sound is damaged too, it sounds like being decoded and re-encoded, and this is not precised anywhere.
This happens whatever download quality being chosen.
This extension is really useless.

Was the most useful extension on firefox, now it is completely worthless. They now place a giant QR code over the downloaded video and you have to pay to remove it. It was already sleazy and disgusting due to all the bot 5-star reviews and the fact that you have to download a useless junk app to use it, but now its uninstalled forever.

Leider ist die Bedienung dieser Version so schlecht, dass man sich nach einer Alternative umschauen sollte. Nicht jedes Update ist eine Verbesserung. Die Funktionalität per Bedienung über das Logo neben der Meüleiste war deutlich besser und intuitiver

Add-on does not inform you until after you install the required external application that unless you pay $29 they'll put a HUGE QR code watermark in the bottom left corner of the video! Very scummy behavior to hide this until after it is installed, and the price is way too high for a simple addon like this. $5 and advance warning? I'd consider it.

Don't waste your time! You need a paid license to download videos, otherwise a watermark will be added. It takes up around 1/3 of the video's width.

Started requiring a paid license, if you do not pay the downloader will stick a giant QR code into the video. So this addon is now garbage.

Used to be great, now requires an external junkware app to be installed and adds a giant QR code to the videos if you don't pay. Uninstall this garbage ASAP

i have bought licenses on the vintage version of Video Download helper but i can't find out how to activate the on the new updated site

Used to be amazing. Now with QR code videos are useless. QR code is huge, cant even consider this premium - it is now a paid product. I would even consider buying it longer term but you have let me down when I need it most. USD price is far too much for the odd video i download. why not add a per day download model? or length limit of videos ? Removed. wont be back :(

Ever since the last update, full videos will not download. No fix works, the program is just busted.
Will update to 5 stars when they decide to fix this issue.
