For a while it was getting blocked from downloads, but it caught up again. Kudos, especially since so many others are no longer in the fight.
Some of us simply have connections not suitable for live HD viewing, so it is neat to be able to download a vid for later consumption without buffering :)
Sometimes, you need to reload the page, or run it in a private window, but that is Youtube mucking around.
I also have the Ghostery add-on, and that seems to even help as well :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14503996, a month agoCrazy good. Works fast and excellent. All for free - Thanx

- Rated 5 out of 5by niko.rockzout, a month agoI am a big music person and with the recent shut down of youtube and blocking downloads from cobalt tools, I wasn't able to download music for me and my mom anymore, until I found VDH. Not only does it work BETTER than cobalt, but your able to personalize and code in how your songs show their album cover and text!!!! It works great and when you pair it with Tag Editor 2, you literally get perfect music at 900 kbps and perfect labeling of ur tracks. Best app ever, I love you Paul, thank you for your service.

VDH is perfect, but some websites encode files that cannot be downloaded.
VDH thrives in your Extensions. Go to a website. VDH sees a downloadable file. VDH icon changes from black and white to color to let you know. Click on VDH and it will give you the options of which files (stream, resolution, kbps) to download.
VDH downloads almost every video or audio you find. VERY infrequently someone will have a file that VDH cannot download, but, so far, it's approx 99.99% successful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18754391, a month ago
