In der Beschreibung wird behauptet, dass nur die Konvertierung kostenpflichtig ist - das ist falsch. Es ist kein Problem für mich für eine gute Anwedung in irgend einer Art Geld zu verlangen - aber nicht indem man mich herumsuchen lässt warum dieser dämliche QR Code auftaucht. Es muss eine extra Anwendung installiert werden - das ist also kein Firefox Add-on das im Browser läuft. Die externe Anwendung bearbeitet nach dem Download in einem ewig dauernden Prozess den sie "sammeln... " oder so ähnlich nennen, jedes Video und fügt einen riesigen QR Code ein, wenn man nicht die Premiumlizenz kauft. D.h. auch wenn keine Formatkonversion gemacht werden muss, wird der QR-Code eingefügt. Außerdem ist das User Interface einfach chaotisch unübersichtlich und mit unverständlichen Symbolen/Farben programmiert.

Habe das Add-on installiert und wollte es gleich ausprobieren. Jetzt wird man gleich zu Beginn, also vor dem Download eines Videos, aufgefordert, eine "Begleitanwendung" (was auch immer die macht und überhaupt darf) zu installieren.

In den Bewertungen wurde ich zum Glück schon vorgewarnt, konnte es aber noch nicht so recht glauben.

Ich finde das hochgradig unseriös und werde das Add-on Video DownloadHelper sofort wieder deinstallieren! Absolut KEINE Empfehlung!

Encountered major issues with Video DownloadHelper. It requires a mandatory companion install, and the downloads come with an intrusive QR code. Upon scanning, it leads to a page asking for monthly payments to remove these QR codes from downloads. This is misleading and seems like a scheme to extract money under the pretense of a free extension. Not recommended due to these deceptive practices.

Can't do anything without installing a "companion app". Don't bother.

Tried to try it - did not even get the 3 ball icon mentioned in the manual - stuck firsthand. Furthermore discouraged by the requirement to install a "companion" app.
Uninstalled it right away.

Was fine until I tried to download a video today and was met with a giant watermark that required payment to remove. Didn't work all that great to begin with, but it was fine. Now it's not.

schrott, man kann die auflösung der videos nicht immer sehen, das ist nervig, es zeit 4 video an, aber man sieht nicht welches das besste von der auflösung ist.
