- Rated 5 out of 5by Odin2, 5 years agoMy need was for an extension facilitating quick notes with minimal hassle, which I could use (for example) for testing macros. I use another extension for notes I want to save (although WebNotepad will save notes). Firefox has a built-in capability to access the first nine tabs by ctrl+number. The beauty of WebNotepad is it will come up on a pinned tab that I can summon immediately with that built-in shortcut. (One other note taking extension will do that, but its pinned tab will not survive a browser restart.) Also, unlike most other such extensions, it does not require the user to click (for focus) before starting the note.
