by ee, 2 years agoOffers good functionalities, but seems rarely able to enforce them. E.g. I almost always have to turn autoplay off and cancel up next videos manually. It's features are well thought out; it's just wildly inconsistent.
edit:
what even was that drivel? how is this rating-manipulating heckling even allowed on AMO?

posted 2 years agoHi there, read again maybe? Whats not supposed to do here is misplacing support requests in reviews. Be assured an author's comment can be relevant more easily. You might not want to launch wrongful attacks here either like "wildly inconsistent".

Hi there, several people confused the number of options and how specific they are: Autoplay means if a video is starting to play at page load without a click. Disabling "Up next Autoplay" is another features that you want to use separately (or both, your choice).
(Most of our users yet bring the interest/geek to watch up to 100 switches. )
Also please consider that no matter what we work for free since 11 years and 100s of times than most extensions with a single feature never requiring an update. So we deserve more than 5 stars. Our features are consistently developed and some might (or might not) temporarily have issues after YouTube changes. (Since YouTube doesn't announce these changes, it is the best we can possibly do. The only hope to manage this 24/7 service perfectly is many users and luckily we grow. Slowly tho. With every bad and inaccurate review it gets worst, my hope goes down. That's the purpose of review. You decide if you want such to be attempted any further or just not bother, or even vote it down to make it stop existing.)

- Rated 4 out of 5by Hirnuva, 10 days agoWonderful addon. The dim could be adjustable, it's a bit too dark now. Also, I have the default speed set at 1.25x. If I slow down the video and the video goes to PiP mode the speed jumps back to 1.25x, so I need to keep it at normal speed.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 19137270, 12 days agoI love this addon. I have just one problem: The options for hiding the live-chat dont really work.
'Collapsed' does the same as 'normal': When I open the stream the chat is there and I have to manually closed it via the X.
'Hide' removes the chat completely, but I dont want that.
When I have the live-stream open and go into the settings of the extension and change the live-chat setting to 'collapsed' it actually collapses the chat. But it doesnt do it automaticly, when I open a stream.
Hope I am not the only one with the issue and it can be fixed. Thanks for the great addon again. :) - Rated 5 out of 5by d7, 13 days ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Ryan C, a month agoMostly great, but I just discovered that 'Disable Auto-Dubbing' is not working—at least not for me. That is by far the worst 'feature' YT has ever come up with, so I would greatly appreciate a fix!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19088519, a month agoExcellent addon, does almost everything it says it does except for one issue which has popped up in the last week
Recently it used to block youtube shorts in search results but after an update that feature has stopped working. Please consider looking into it in the future, other than that the extension is great.
Edit - Issue was fixed, thank you for the support - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16568355, a month ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by Nick, a month agoHad to disable it 5 minutes after installing because it ramped up CPU usage by 30%-40%. Why is this? I haven't even toggled anything ON yet.
