- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18082709, a year agoThe BEST next thing to ad-blockers, since YouTube prohibits ad-blockers, now.
I was initially looking for an auto ad-skip add-on, assuming it will run the whole ad until it is skippable, but this works the best, as it auto skips immediately and mutes the ads. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16974561, 3 years agoIs it possible to add options to activate/deactivate features to only mute ads for examples?
To be more precis,
- An option to mute or not the ads.
- Allow skipping ads when skippable.
* skip the ads that are longer than XX:XX.
- allow or not the banner.
That way youtube can get remunerated with some ads. - Rated 5 out of 5by Stanley, 3 years agoIt skips in a fraction of the second when an ad shows up and it doesn't make any sound. Does what it says on the tin.
I have a question, though - do youtube creators get any ad revenue that way? If no, could there be an option for this add-on to allow the ad to run it's minimum duration of 4-5 seconds muted and then skip so the creator of the video can get their ad revenue share? - Rated 5 out of 5by DreamRyderX, 5 years agoWorks a charm! Kills all those abusive, PITA adds. If they still get paid...fine....if they don't....well, it's the survival of the fittest, they should think of how annoying their greed can be, & accept that there are those of us who will never accept the abuse!......Thanks again.....great work....keep it up!!!

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14219845, 6 years agoit skips adds however it should just mute as i want to support the channel but without the ultra high high volume of the ads.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14578563, 6 years agothx, seems to be exactly what i was looking for. the content creator is still getting payed for the "watched" ad right?

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14396078, 6 years agoThis add on was working perfectly for me until a few weeks ago, a update to bring it back would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: While not completely fixed yet I am thankful for the effort being put into repairing the add on and bringing it back up to where it was.Developer response
posted 6 years agoIt broke for me too and I'm currently working on fixing it. The testing/bug fixing is quite a lengthy process, because I have to click through dozens of videos to trigger enough ads to actually test it, so please stay patient. Expect an update in the next 5-7 days!
EDIT (Nov17): There should be an update out in the next few hours! The addon might not perform as consistently as before, but I'll see what I can do to improve it. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13287412, 7 years agoAdded today and so far I like it. Small footprint, seamless integration and performs as advertised. I'm afraid BIG BROTHER at Youtube will not like it!
