- Rated 5 out of 5by Anon, 5 days agoGreat add-on, removes much of the ugliness that the "modern" UI tries to force on you.
If I could make a request, could you add the option to hide the "includes paid promotion" pop-up that appears when you hover over certain thumbnails? With the smaller thumbnails that this add-on gives you, it makes it very easy to accidentally click that pop-up instead of the video when you want to watch something. - Rated 5 out of 5by Vin, 6 days ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Max, 9 days agoThis add-on would be good... if it actually would modify the video loader. The new video loader with huge buttons looks weird with the old YouTube UI. Other than, everything else seems to work fine.
- Rated 3 out of 5by CodeIcannot, 18 days agoThis addon modifies a lot of things on Youtube's pages, but I only consider one of those changes a good thing. The others are odd, or even bad.
First the positive one: it allows you to view more thumbnails on the mainpage. That's great!
However, along with that singular positive thing, comes a lot of questionable ones. For example, the default settings make everything about the page layouts look older, less modern, even ugly. Why is that? And even though you can disable some of these changes, there are things that it messes up permanently. Like the latest Youtube posts. They get truncated to just a few words each, and there is no option to change that behaviour. Also, playlist thumbnails are unaffected (= remain huge) despite everything else shrinking. The layouts just become erratic and mismatched.
I would not recommend this addon. If you just want to see more video thumbnails on Youtube's main page, there are better ways to achieve that. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19483157, 19 days agoAn extremely useful addition to the youtube experience, although I really wish you could change the video player itself with it.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Marco, 2 months agoNot only gave me the possibility of going back to a more usable, nostalgic and overall better looking UI but surprisingly also made youtube to work better and load faster in most instances - in the process making even more evident how much of a bad job the people behind YT are doing with all the bloat "updates" and terrible design choices. Great, great add-on

- Rated 3 out of 5by daniel7692, 3 months agoThe community posts have cyclinder boxes (not sqaure) and the icon that shows someone (or a channel) that there live is circular, 5 stars to fix ;)
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14848614, 3 months agoI understand that the latest update requires permission to be able to export the configuration files, but I beg you, make it optional. Until then I will be forced, for safety reasons, to remove the addon. It is a shame because I really loved this extension.
edit:
Thank you for your quick response and understanding. Reverting back to 5 stars. Thanks for making YouTube usable again.Developer response
posted 3 months agoI'm remaking that part to be optional or not required at all. Update soon!
While it's being reworked I've reverted the update so v3.8.4 is the newest available. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16412083, 3 months ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Paul, 3 months agoLove how it looks, however I downloaded this because I don't like the new floating video player icons, would it be possible to change them? Or at least make it so that the bottom of the icons doesn't get cut off, it does that on my machine.
