I enjoyed ABP pre-quantum; but my current experience is intensely disappointing. I'm keeping ABP for its ability to block elements--but I'll quit it as soon as I can find another means of doing that. (This ABP ability is markedly less than pre-quantum, but I'm willing to assume that ABP is doing the best it can with this feature under quantum.)

I frequently use Amazon's site. I find now that Amazon's site (at least) is replete with very annoying ads--despite ABP's assurance here that it "blocks all annoying ads." Note that my ABP settings have all ABP's listed filters "active," and my instructions to ABP are to block even so-called "acceptable" ads. Note also that ABP will apparently revert to the default setting to "allow" such ads should you remove and reinstall the add-on.

L'idée est bonne mais vu les permissions demandées pour l'installation de ce Adblock, je trouve cet add-on intrusif ... dommage.

I have used this extension since i can remember, just now i discovered that some how when it is enable increases 30% of the usage of my Intel i5 7400 (4 cores @ 3 GHz) just by looking at the Firefox homepage. I guess i will have to look for another adblock

for some time some webite managed to pentrate the adblock option and bypass the blocking, there are errors and bugs in this version, some web sites are not supported by the adblocker any more it is a shame that the programmer who build this destory the original code to promote his busniesses by letting ads to by pass this protection, i have the source code of this adblocking i saw the changes.

Persönlich nicht mehr vertrauenswürdig, da Manche Werbung bekanntlich zugelassen wird. Andere Adblocker arbeiten zuverlässiger wie uBlock.

I recommend to not use it with Firefox Mobile. It slowdowns firefox mobile a lot, takes about 10s to load a page. After removed it, it is day and night. Now using uBlock Origin. No impact on perf AFAIK

Auf Facebook teilt sich die Grafik beim hoch und runter scrollen. Ich kann die Begeisterung für das Add-on weder nachvollziehen noch weitergeben. Nach Firefox Version 52.0 kannst du Adblocker alle in die Tonne kloppen. Entweder legen sie den Browser lahm oder verursachen andere nervige Funktionsstörungen.

Hatte dieses Add-on mal wieder installiert und wieder entfernt, weil ich überall den Ad-Blocker ausmachen muss!!! Dafür brauche ich keinen.
Das Add-on taugt nichts!

Empecé a ver anuncios en YouTube y otras páginas. Claramente no me sirve

This worked great until it didn't. Don't know what went wrong but I suddenly had multiple ads again. Don't know when or if it will be fixed. Sorry, I really liked how this worked but no longer. Gave it 2 stars instead of one based on how well it worked in the past and the possibility it might be fixed and work in the future.

From today 23.08. I experience that lots of pages will not load their images. One of the pages is also facebook. If I disable Adblock Plus all is well. So I guess we have some bug here?

"supports websites by not blocking unobtrusive ads by default" - translation, those companies that pay to not have their ads blocked...given that business model, how long before every one is paying to not have their ads blocked and Adblock is completely useless?

There are better choices.

Eh, it works ok but fails to block certain script popup attacks and either bleeds memory horribly or is failing to block some scripts which do so. uBlockOrigin is probably better and its block lists are updated more frequently.
