- Se valoró con 1 de 5por ssssaaaa, hace 4 mesesDoesn't work unless you pay. Consent-o-matic does the same as this plugin but works on more sites, is free and open-source.
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 19185659, hace 4 mesesThis USED to be a free plugin. Sadly, the developer has decided to chase money and remove all utility from the free version, with it only working "up to 3 times a day", otherwise asking for ~$10 per month. So, instead I will be uninstalling.
If you are reading this and haven't enabled automatic updates for plugins, then MAKE SURE TO DISABLE THEM!.

publicado el hace 4 mesesHi, the extension costs 1$ a month. Not 10$. You can also downgrade if you don't want to pay the subscription. - Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 19413785, hace 4 mesesSadly, a case study as to why to not enable automatic updates. Clippy and Louis Rossmann would be sad. Created an account to review due to recent changes.
I will give the author credit where it is due, he seems to be updating the extension regularly. It's now on version 3.31 and as far as I can tell, the subscription wording was added back 3.29, and I've since downgraded to 3.28 and will leave it there until I find a replacement. I will also give the author credit for creating a popup to let me know as I hadn't realized it had stopped working. And I learned that downgrading an extension is a built in feature of Firefox.
The only other extension I know that charges is PushBullet, but their free option is quite more generous than '3 times a day.' I also rather look at it that something has changed for the developer as he now feels he needs funds and hope things turn out well for him. It's easier to think that, than something like he just got greedy. Or maybe it's better the other way around?
For what it claims, it seems to do what is says. Only had some issues with locally hosted sites, but the blacklist feature is useful enough for that.
Edit:
Updated to 2 stars due to friendly developer response. I cannot go farther than that because they change the extension after the fact. Would have no issue if it was like that from the start. It's unfortunate because I see where the developer is coming from (as a programmer myself) and I understand the thought process, but can't support the act. If you see this Francisco, I thank you for your offer, but I'll have to refuse on principle.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 4 mesesHi
Thanks for the fair and detailed review. Happy to offer you a year long license. I am also glad to know its possible to downgrade as I understand maybe not everyone will be willing to pay, and that way you have a solution. Unfortunately we are two people working almost full time here, and for this to be viable we need to charge a subscription. I don't think 1$ is greedy or unfair, but if people don't like it they can downgrade or stop using it.
Best regards
Francisco - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 14559047, hace 4 mesesOh, thinking of making a funtune off "donations" then made very little, turns on the pay wall and blame others for not being nice.
How standard.

publicado el hace 4 mesesHi, we show a pop up once every two weeks. It seems pretty fair for a free version. The free version also works 3 times a day (also seems pretty fair but open to hear your thoughts). This extension takes a lot of time to keep updated as sites are constantly changing their cookie banners. I would be happy to offer you a free year.
It makes no sense to give me a one star review simply because you don't want to pay. You can just stop using it.

- Se valoró con 1 de 5por KS, hace 4 mesesDidn't do a ton for me to begin with, then popped up and asked for a subscription after saving me... 1.8 minutes of my time (apparently it kept track).
EDIT: Removed because it kept giving repeated popups. You aren't saving me time with cookies if I'm spending that time again dealing with your own popups. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Sopor, hace 4 mesesThis is a scam. They want you to pay for the extension after a while you have used it. Don't bother to install it. I will UNINSTALL it immediately!

- Se valoró con 3 de 5por biggus_ivanus, hace 6 mesesbugs that have previously caused issues for YouTube on Firefox have been fixed. The new subscription model is quite restrictive but hope to see adjustments to it made soon. otherwise it seems to be able to automatically manage cookie consent.

publicado el hace 6 mesesHi Juha,
Can you report those sites so we can add them? Thanks- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 14790382, hace 7 mesesA helpful add-on that's continually being worked on. I see positive development, which is why I have no problem making a small financial contribution for my increased convenience and the time saved for other things.
Anyone who is upset about this small contribution should offer an at least comparable add-on for free – or keep quiet. - Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 15328935, hace 7 mesesThe extension causes YouTube Watch Later and other Notifications to load painfully slowly.
- Se valoró con 3 de 5por KevK, hace 7 mesesok, but still many sites where cookie popups are displayed, at least you can see in the dashboard that it does work on some sites and saves you some time and nerves
