por Sack, hace 2 añosThis is a must have for someone that watches way too much YouTube. One thing I can suggest is to be able hide theater mode button. This is mostly a me problem I'm sure but I don't like theater mode and I find myself hitting it by accident sometimes. Also, I gotta say the like and dislike thing is confusing and now sure what it does. Deleted my bring back dislikes extension because I figured that is what it meant. Even if they aren't perfectly accurate, I think it would be nice for the users of at least this app to show dislikes
edit: Bumped from 4 to 5 since I now know you can block theater mode and I didn't not know the return YT dislikes was made difficult to implement for the reason stated. Great app that is a game changer and keep it up the work. You make the website I have the most hours on a lot better place.

Something 'missing' here is rarely a reason for deductions as there are unlimited questions and ideas and we already do too much and have to tidy first. You can hide the theater view button at appearance: player: player controls buttons: view mode. And you can join us on GitHub to improve this linguistically. It is a good idea to integrate data like sponsorblock or rytd, who might be gatekeeping one way or another: https://github.com/Anarios/return-youtube-dislike#api-documentation. (If you spend an hour as a user that is a lot, still chances are people who spent 1000s of hours asked the same questions already. Thats why our Github appears on the front screen recently.

HOWEVER, on closer inspection the issue was likely caused by having the in extension adblocking feature turned on while another adblocker (e.g. uBO or Adguard) was already in use. Simply put, when it comes to - Youtube - adblocker, use either the one within this extension or uBO/AdGuard/Ghostery etc. but never both or more.

And yes developer this is what reviews are for. They're for leaving information for others about the experience of using the app. "Makes the website it's for unusably slow" is useful information for other users. Calculation, settings, or others, we don't know what's happening. I don't quite understand the number of positive reviews, as I don't have such an exotic setup (FF 146.0.1 + YT Anti-Translate + Privacy Badger + Ublock Origin + Emoji CheatSet on W11x64).
