por KnottGylty, hace 10 mesesHmm, is it just me or do practically all of the positive 5* reviews (which aren't all that many) seem sorta like they're written by the same source, be it the developer or AI generated. They all regurgitate pretty much the same talking points while using practically the same exact phrases & 'buzz words' such as the repeated use of the phrase "Game Changer!" & the reiteration of the word "platform". That just seems more like what an advertiser would push rather than what various random users would be most likely 2 boast about. I see this trick used often in the reviews 4 products being sold by 3rd parties via Walmart online. There it's super obvious because the same exact bad English is repeated verbatim. In this case, I believe the fraud is considerably more sophistocated, rendering it less noticeable 2 anyone who lacks the ability 2 think critically when evaluating truth from deception.
I suppose its possible the product in question is actually decent, but feels the need 2 bolster their #'s by making it look as if many others have tried it with favorable results in order 2 boost consumer confidence 4 new potential users so they'll be more apt 2 trust & try. But if a product is genuinely good with no malicious intent, it's performance will speak 4 itself & wouldn't need 2 resort 2 deceptive practices or the redaction of negative reviews enabled by default (which was the case 4 me until I actively changed that setting). So I'm feeling relatively skeptical about the overall intentions of this extension, as well as its security & overall legitimacy! I mean, who really wants 2 be a guinea pig 2 find out the product has malicious properties or just another know-nothing fool in a sea of many blind-trusting consumers who'll have been bought cheap (in this case 'Free') just 2 be sold down the river 2 the highest bidder or perhaps even a multitude of data brokers. The initial "trust clause" warning offered by Mozilla oughtta tell ya just what kind of liability or accountability 1 might expect should the mere use of said product end up doing some sort of harm 2 the user at the end of the day. Definitely something 2 consider.

- Se valoró con 1 de 5por EZ, hace 4 díasStarted off fine getting 10 downloads a day for the free version. Now I'm down to supposedly 3 downloads a day. I'm not even getting the 3 a day. I downloaded 1 audio file since Oct 7 and I have 0 left now. This is a joke. These "day" timeframes don't exist in actual time. How is it 2 weeks can go by without using the add-on at all & the supposed daily download counts aren't resetting? This is ridiculous... If I could give negative stars I would.

publicado el hace 9 díasHi
We notice your review is more about expressing frustration than providing constructive feedback. If you had taken a moment to understand how the tool works, you’d see it’s different from other downloaders: it processes downloads server-side, supports 700+ websites, allows segment downloads, separate audio/video downloads, and more.
Negative ratings are helpful when they point out real issues — simply calling it “wrong” or “doesn’t match your expectations” without trying it properly isn’t fair to the tool or to other users.
We welcome constructive criticism, but please keep reviews respectful.
— The Veedmate Team - Se valoró con 1 de 5por JKim, hace 12 díasIt redirects to some webpage. Paste your YT link, select your resolution, and it says "Preparing Your Download". I let it sit for over a half-hour and the progress stayed at 0%. This extension is garbage.

publicado el hace 11 díasHi Jkim, thank you for sharing your feedback.
Please note that this extension is a server-side downloader, not a local process. All downloads are processed on our servers — so if there’s high traffic or temporary server maintenance, progress may appear stuck even though the system is working in the background.
In most cases, even long videos download quickly, as we recently upgraded our servers, increased capacity, and optimized the entire system for faster performance and better reliability.
We understand your frustration, but calling the extension “garbage” is unfair. Our team works hard to build and maintain this tool for users like you. We always appreciate constructive feedback — it helps us improve further.
Please give it another try, and if you experience any issues or have any questions, reach out to us anytime at support@veedmate.com

Your feedback helps us improve and fix any issues quickly.- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18973265, hace un mesThis extension and another one that looks almost the same and also says it can grab 4K puts a limit of 4 downloads per day (even though it says the max is 5 downloads). It wants you to buy into it in order to remove the daily limit.

publicado el hace 4 mesesHi there! Thanks for trying the extension.
Just to clarify, the download button won't appear automatically on video pages. Instead, please follow these steps:
Click on the extension icon in the top-right corner of your Firefox browser.
A small window will open – paste the video URL you want to download.
Choose your desired resolution, then click the Download button.
The video will take a moment to process.
Once ready, a "Download to your device" button will appear – click that to start the download.
You can track the download progress in the Firefox Download Manager.
Let us know if you run into any issues — happy to help! 😊 - Se valoró con 5 de 5por T2R, hace 4 mesesEasy to convert YouTube to MP3 or MP4. Limit of a download is 10 per day. I'm not sure for each IP or for this free server. But this is the best tool so far. Pro maybe better.
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13712107, hace 5 mesesEs un engaño. Solamente abre una ventana para que copies la url del video. Una tomadura de pelo.
