For example, lately, the extension no longer unlocks when the desktop app is unlocked. Trying to access logins for the current site results in an infinite spinner in the browser. This is a new issue and a regression. The only fix I've found is to disable and re-enable the extension manually a bunch of times. Not up to the quality standard I expect from 1Password.

1Password should definitely not disappear or be disabled for no reason. That sounds like an issue we can troubleshoot with you!
Feel free to email us all the details to support+x@1password.com and we’ll gladly investigate it with you. - Se valoró con 5 de 5by Usuario de Firefox 16894169, hace 4 añosI just wrote a disgraceful review of OP due to their lack of TPM support, well what do you know, a few days later they release this very nice browser extension with support for windows hello. The King is Back bitches!

This time, all I needed to do was authenticate with Touch ID. My mind is truly blown.

Rather than feeling detached from the browser, something you just make appear elsewhere with a keyboard shortcut, now when you click in a login field it recognises it pops up close by to allow you to choose which login, etc you want to use.
It has also been automatically populating the following step 2FA codes for me as well.
A huge improvement on something that wasn't bad to begin with. Now it feels super slick. - Se valoró con 5 de 5by Jannik, hace 4 años

Update:
1Password reached out saying I have to download another extension. This is a bad product. They are trying to force their previous customers to their subscription model. In order to do that they are making our life complicated.

This extension only loads vaults from a 1Password.com account. If you have a Dropbox vault, you’ll need the 1Password Classic extension instead: https://support.1password.com/cs/1password-classic-extension/ - Se valoró con 5 de 5by ambstuc, hace 4 añosBeen using 1Password for years now, and the new plugin is great - finally fingerprint recognition for the new version! What I love about 1Password is that you can not only store passwords, but also files etc securely. Best tool around.

A restart of the browser seems to get it working again but it's very annoying when you're trying to get logged in somewhere and it hangs like this. v1.x 1Password X was fluid and fast, this is a major regression in usability.

We’d like to investigate and help you get things working properly.
Would you mind emailing us all the details to support+x@1password.com , alongside the extension’s log after it hangs? Here’s how to get the extension’s log: https://support.1password.com/cs/extension-console-log/ - Se valoró con 1 de 5by John R, hace 4 años1Password is VERY rapidly going down the toilet -- worst password manager experience ever! WHY ARE THERE TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS of the browser extension? Why is it so difficult to configure? Agile Bits have very much lost their way.

I have no use for the desktop app, so I only talk about the browser extension.
Sometimes it does not offer password completion, but I guess it's the website's fault. - Se valoró con 5 de 5by Usuario de Firefox 16885768, hace 4 años
- Se valoró con 3 de 5by Brandon, hace 4 añosThe update login experience needs improved. One thing I loved about LastPass is when updating login information. With LastPass, I simply type the NEW credentials in a field and when I click okay on the website, LastPass automatically recognizes that something was changed and asks me if I would like to update the database. Compare this to 1Password. I understand that I can click the "Save in 1Password" button when updating information. But if I miss this opportunity, 1Password is none the wiser. I must navigate the 1Password app, find the login, and then edit the fields manually. I left LastPass for security reasons, so I'm not going anywhere; but I would be lying if I said 1Password had a smoother experience. Seems like a simple thing to implement. Definitely increases the User-Experience. Good job on the recent update with dark mode, by the way.

Thank you for the feedback and input here! We’re definitely investigating and exploring options on triggering the update/save prompt even if you don’t click the “Save in 1Password” button.
If all goes well, you might find this feature available in a future update. :) - Se valoró con 5 de 5by toshilla, hace 4 años
