The fact remains that ADBLOCK PLUS IS COOPERATING WITH A PRO-ADVERTISING EFFORT! Adblock Plus is NOT an adblocker! Calling it an adblocker while receiving financing from any kind of pro-advertising interest is misrepresentation!

In this day and age, people are more than capable of finding what they need, if and when they need it, using a search engine. makes watching bearable

I've used this add-on for years but the random tabs opening to ask me to pay for premium kills it for me. I'm totally OK with the ask every now and then, but every update to have a new tab open without choice when i have so many tabs open only to lose where i was is so infuriating. I just cant take it. I wish there was an actual reply about it and not a copy and paste reply saying thanks for the feedback. I'd love to know reasons why they think users who are trying to block ads would be ok with a whole tab opening without the user having control over it. Thanks for the years but it's time to fine a new add-on.
