AI Alt Text Generator — Privacy Policy

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us. We operate no servers.

• Your AI API key is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) and is never sent to us or to anyone other
  than the AI provider you choose.
• When you generate alt text, the image (or its URL) is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you
  selected (Groq, Google Gemini, or OpenAI), using your own API key, only to generate the description. That request is
  subject to that provider's own privacy policy.
• We use no analytics, tracking, cookies, or advertising.
• The optional Pro license key you enter is checked with Gumroad (our payment processor) only to confirm your
  subscription is active.
