- Se valoró con 3 de 5by craigcool99, hace 2 añosThe only downside is that, it used to work perfectly on youtube playlists, but then something changed and now any time a playlist switches to the next track it resets the audio device. It would be nice if the add-on would work around page reloads on the same domain, or if settings could be retained on a per-sub-domain basis ( did anyone found a solution to it ? im having the same issues and let s say i select my tv to listen the youtube music after it skips to the next music the sound resets and back everytime to the headset and i gotta do it over again and again )

EDIT 09/2023 - The reset behavior, in my experimentation, appears to be a conflict with the "Volume Control [Boost volume]" addon. I'm increasing my rating but leaving my original review because it would still be nice to get more robust functionality for audio routing control that could be less brittle - Se valoró con 5 de 5by Rebel, hace 2 años

If this is the first time you access such a configuration page, accept the warning. Then type media.setsinkid.enabled. If it's set to false, double-click on it to change it to true.
Then right click anywhere on a page with an audio playing and you will get the option to select audio output device. - Se valoró con 4 de 5by adjerzak, hace 3 años

I then display my IPTV stuff onto the HDMI which displays it on my TV, and then i can use this so that it will then play the audio of the video through the HDMI, leaving my Default Audio on my Laptop, so i can continue to use my laptop video/audio separately from the video/audio playing through HDMI to my Big Screen TV.
Example : My TV is showing news with video/audio and via my laptop im on web surfing on Sound cloud with the audio from sound cloud playing on my Laptop.
It basically frees up my laptop as if i wasn't using my laptop to display the audio/video on my TV. - Se valoró con 5 de 5by super_ryuzaki, hace 3 años

The thing to remember is to change your desired output device volume first (for eg. if you want to route tab audio to your headphones, first select your main audio output device in Windows specifically to your headphones, and then set that volume to max or whatever).
Thanks 希実香. - Se valoró con 3 de 5by CrinEx, hace 3 añosIt works, but it's kind of selective. Just do the about:config thing when it asks you to and see which sites it works on.

For new users:
1. In addition to installing this, open a new tab, enter about:config and press enter. If this is the first time you access such a configuration page, accept the warning. Then type media.setsinkid.enabled. If it's set to false, double-click on it to change it to true.
2. This works for some websites only. How do you tell?
If you right-click (at any blank part of the page), choose "View Page Source". Then press Ctrl+F (or menu > Edit > Find in Page) and search first for - Se valoró con 5 de 5by Usuario de Firefox 16698967, hace 3 añosThank you for writing this extension. I use TV speaker only for youtube videos and very happy with this. :) If I could hope something, I would like to choose output device from menu instead of dialog window.
