Thanks for your rating. It's great to hear that you like the add-on. 😀
If you are interested, there are things you can do to contribute to this project in various ways (even without coding skills), e.g. by translating the add-on. See https://github.com/rugk/awesome-emoji-picker/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md for details.

Why the fuck would i want to go all the way up there when i should be able to simply right click and access the menu like in opera. Only firefox users and reddit users would appreciate such an annoying limitation.

publicado el hace 3 añosHi seika,
thanks for your rating. I see that you want to have a quicker way to access the toolbar or emoji picker add-on.
As far as I see, I can provide you with some tips, so you can try out whether they work for you:
1. You can customize the toolbar in Firefox, so the icon is always shown and you can access it with one click: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/customize-firefox-controls-buttons-and-toolbars
2. This extension can also be accessed with a hot key, by default it is Ctrl+Shift+Period.
3. Finally, you can also access it in the address bar, if you enable that feature. See https://github.com/rugk/awesome-emoji-picker/wiki/FAQ#how-to-use-the-address-bar-to-search-for-emojis for more information. You could e.g. press Ctrl+L to access the address bar and then type "emoji" to find any emoji.
Furthermore the optional integration into the context menu, so the picker can be accessed with right click is tracked in https://github.com/rugk/awesome-emoji-picker/issues/45 and already implemented. It will be included in the next release.
Apart from all of that, I unfortunately see no way to help you here as the add-on developer of the Awesome Emoji Picker extension. I cannot influence where Firefox places the toolbar buttons or so.
If your message was meant to be directed to Firefox, please direct that to them and e.g. share your ideas and feedback on https://connect.mozilla.org/.
If this helps, it would be glad if you could adjust your voting, as there is nothing more I can do here as an extension developer, unfortunately.
Apart from that, if you have any other ideas or issues, feel free to get in touch.
Best regards

publicado el hace 3 añosHi Kidkat8,
first of all, thanks for your rating. I'm sorry that you are apparently having a problem with the visuals of the emojis.
Please note that the last update of this emoji picker is years ago, so I doubt it is a problem with the add-on itself. If you do use Windows, however, it may have been that an update of your operation system there did result in the new emojis you see. Please see https://blog.emojipedia.org/new-fluent-emoji-designs-from-microsoft/ for more information.
Please note that this add-on has no influence on the emoji style your operation system ships and shows. This is solely a decision of Microsoft in this case.
However, here is the good news: You can solve that by choosing a different emoji style in the extension. To do that, right-click on the icon of the extension, choose “Manage extension” → “Settings” and choose a different icon set next to “emoji design”.
By default, this extension uses your system emojis, but there are different styles available and they have a different design and they all look quite great.
Let us know if this helped by adjusting your voting.
Apart from that, if you have any other ideas or issues, feel free to get in touch here or on GitHub by creating an issue: https://github.com/rugk/awesome-emoji-picker
Best regards
