I get very sick of closing overlays and finding the little "x" in some corner of it or some light colored "close" link. They get sneakier and sneakier about making you actually read the overlay to find a way to close it. Now when I see one, I know right away I can click on the X in the toolbar and it will disappear. So satisfying.

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Discovery, hace 7 añosThis extension works well, but it would be better if overlays could be permanently blocked. I'm looking for a replacement of Poper Blocker, the only one that saved our settings and removed the chosen overlays permanently.

- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 11016758, hace 7 añosbecause of the new GDPR & f.. overlays as a result : perfect, _because_ of its non intrusive _simplicity_ based on the browser itself , thx - works fine. !
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por someguy, hace 7 añosi know that you said you'll be making the button on the context menu, but that was 7 months ago, when will we be getting it?
other than this the add-on is perfect. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 12380724, hace 7 años

Some sites like reddit with their nag banner to get you to join have this pop up every time you hit the front page have gotten beyond annoying and this solves the issue, but the default block and whitelist would take it to the next level.

Truly a must-have with so many sites using overlays to hide content. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Rob, hace 7 añosWorks well for me on some sites
Companies are always looking for ways to beat these extensions, which is not the fault of the developer
The cluttering of the url/location bar with the icon is the only drawback I can see
I understand you want easy access as it may be used often, but the fact you can organize everything so easily in Quantum means you can put it in your favorite extension icons spot
Thanks for all your efforts! - Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13607278, hace 8 añosRemoves the overlay, but then the pages underneath won't scroll so I can only read the first paragraph or so. Is there a fix for this?

- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Majik Fox, hace 8 añosWorks just fine for me on Quantum. Media outlets are starting to figure out that extensions like this exist and they're making the floater canvas their main content container, so I imagine it'll stop working soon.
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13550059, hace 8 añosDoes not work with Quantum, will not add an icon to the toolbar. Wound up using the Pintrest overlay remover and it does the job on other sites as well.
- Se valoró con 5 de 5por gmon, hace 8 añosit will work with Quantum as long as you reinstall and restart, otherwise it will not show up in the address bar and will not show up in Customize either
- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Wok, hace 8 añosCould you make it so that we could remove the icon in the url bar? It is annoying because it is a cross, just next to the cross to stop the loading of pages. So it is easy to misclick. I only use the shortcut anyway, I don't want this icon.

publicado el hace 8 añosI have planned to implement the possibility of hiding/showing the icon shown in the address bar for the next version.
So, keep an eye out for it.
Best regards. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 12766830, hace 8 añosThe button in the url bar is always visible, even if there is no overlay to remove. Could you make it so that it hides when there is no overlay detected?
