- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Rose, hace 2 añosThank you very much for this awesome addon!
It's a shame we need something like this, but hey-ho. The ability to skip old legacy accounts is appreciated, as is the custom follower limiter. Makes it easier to avoid blocking potentially non-garbage accounts, while also still getting rid of $8 idiots with 12 followers. I'm also liking the newly added promoted tweet blocker. Ever since rocket clown took over, my timeline has been flooded with "life coaches" and crypto scam garbage.
If only this worked on mobile too! Thank you again! - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Rigel, hace 2 añosEDIT 6/8/24: no longer works D: ive tried restarting my whole comp, logging in and out of twitter, uninstalling and reinstalling the extension, clearing my cache.. it just doesnt add anything to the block queue anymore
og: this thing rules. i was wondering, is it possible to use the same queuing code for tweet nuking? i miss MegaBlockRespuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 2 añosmaybe? it's all open source, so if someone wants to make it happen then go for it. there's already a way to import additional users into the block queue and I'm working on making the queue a lot more efficient so you can load up those lists of every twitter blue user ever. in addition to that, other addons can integrate with blue blocker by either sending sending users to block directly to the queue or by having blue blocker send users to check against - Se valoró con 2 de 5por Vicente, hace 2 añosIt seems to work for everyone else, but it stops randomly for me and doesn't restart. I've only managed to block a handful of blue ticks.

publicado el hace 2 añosthis sounds like you're experiencing a weird bug, could you go to the blue block github and make an issue so we can look into it? https://github.com/kheina-com/Blue-Blocker/wiki/How-To-Make-An-Issue - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13266008, hace 2 añosThis add-on works great, but I noticed a problem where it blocked Bloomberg even though I had the "skip users with over 1.0M followers" setting on. It shouldn't have blocked Bloomberg because it had over 9M followers.

publicado el hace 2 añosthe follower threshold option only applies to blue accounts, if you have the option to block users that promote tweets or nft avatars, they will bypass that threshold. the wording on the menu will be updated at some point - Se valoró con 5 de 5por ZombieWolf, hace 2 años
- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Gabriel, hace 2 añosFinally able to remove spammers, parody accounts and conspiracy theorists from Twitter.
This also doesn't interfere with people you follow.
if you use Twitter, you must have this extension! - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Lebster, hace 2 añosThis add-on appears to work for most people, but for me, it doesn't do anything. It won't save my settings, doesn't block or mote anyone, and its queue is always empty.
EDIT: the add-on works as designed after re-installing it.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 2 añosit sounds like the extension installed fine, but is unable to access local storage for some reason. this is pretty critical to how all extensions work. do you have any other extensions installed that have this issue?
could you make an issue on github so that we can try to figure out the root cause of this issue?

- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 14587546, hace 2 añosWorks like a charm, the only thing I'd like to see added in the future however is something along the lines of being able to set up a cooldown after reaching block limit in which the extension won't block accounts but still add them to the queue.
I know the block cooldown is there to circumvent that however even after setting it up to one block a minute I ended up getting logged out from twitter after a few hours so they might've messed with the block limit and cooldown for it.
On top of that, I just think it could be useful to have the block cooldown and a cooldown for the amount blocked just in case anyone would like to have people blocked as quick as possible - Se valoró con 5 de 5por lix, hace 2 años

Initially I tweaked the bar down for ignoring blue accounts with low follower counts but quickly reset it to the suggested number.
I also initially went with a lower idle time but am aware that if we go too low we can get automation-banned. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Eno, hace 2 años

- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 17246962, hace 2 añosPretty great. Blocks mostly all the annoying people pushed to the top of replies so working as intended. If there was one thing I'd add it'd be a way to add people to the "never block" list without having to open the queue some how.
EDIT: As of about May 20th 2024, this extension is no longer functional, possibly because of the domain name change of "Twitter" to "X" .com, but i dunno for sure, but it's for sure not working anymore - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Cleridwen, hace 2 años

- Se valoró con 3 de 5por Rusty, hace 2 añosWorks great, but ever since I downloaded it I seem to randomly get logged out of twitter with a message at the bottom that reads "Your account may not be allowed to perform this action, please refresh the page or try again" or something along those lines. I don't know if this is a result of me clicking on posts at the same time that the bot blocks an account, leading to twitter thinking I'm behaving like a bot, or what. It's annoying though not nearly as annoying as having twitter blue nerds in my replies constantly

publicado el hace 2 añosyou may want to try adjusting the block interval. it defaults to 15 seconds, which should be good, but a lower number puts you at a risk of getting logged out due to rate limiting. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por solomonope, hace 2 años
- Se valoró con 3 de 5por L. V., hace 2 añosdefinitely blocks twitter blue accounts, but it tends to leave some leftover even after i refresh the page. i've also had it re-block one account i manually unblocked twice.
also, for some reason i more often than not get the notification that an account has been blocked (which already takes up a bit of space) repeated about 2-5 times for the same twitter account, which visually takes up a lot of space, and presumably makes me unable to tell which other accounts it has additionally blocked, should i want to unblock one of them.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 2 añoshey! the reason why some accounts are "left over" is because blocking needs to be done slowly over time to prevent your account from getting locked. you can view the accounts queued to be blocked from the context menu found by clicking the addon's icon in your browser's toolbar.
as for the repeated messages, I've experienced that bug as well and I'm not sure of the cause, but I'm looking into it.
regarding unblocking, the addon will not re-block a user you've unblocked when you click "undo" from the popups (or "never block" from the queue viewer). however, if you manually unblock them, the addon does not yet detect this and know to safelist them. the best I can suggest at the moment is to wait for them to be added to the queue and then click "never block". I'm sorry I don't have a better answer yet.
