publicado el hace 3 añosThat site doesn't prevent caching of their icon but Firefox isn't saving the icon. I suspect it's because Firefox first requests https://login.paysafecard.com/favicon.ico and that redirects to a login page instead of returning a "not found" or "forbidden" response. Firefox does proceed to request the real icon at https://login.paysafecard.com/customer-auth/clients/mypins/favicon.ico?v=2.78.1 and uses that on the tab, but for some reason it doesn't use that one for the bookmark. ?? - Se valoró con 5 de 5by Powsin, hace 4 añosThis extension fixed my long term problem of my favorites sites bookmarked without icons. Fucking amazing if you ask me.
I would give this shit 10 stars if I could. - Se valoró con 5 de 5by Mofiac, hace 4 años

But that is probably different issue with gmail, because I noticed firefox blocks first favicon in network requests, but not 2nd, and your extension's button is grayed out for this. But probably bug with accept header, when I change it from accept webp to png it works I think. Also I think Firefox a week ago fixed this issue so this extension is no longer needed. The bug I reported in bugzilla is fixed.

Edit: I saw that I needed to click on the app's icon and select "Reload Page to Retrieve Icons" button and it adds the site's icon for all the bookmarks that had the generic black and white globe.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 5 añosHi Hartful, the extension is not automatic. I tested the steps listed in the Description (to add the URL of the Walmart icon to the extension's list) and they are still working for me in Firefox 81 on Windows. Could you review the steps and try again? - Se valoró con 5 de 5by Sermonator, hace 5 añosThis add-on addresses an issue I've had for ages with Firefox. It works great. I've run into a few sites that don't seem to respond, but the vast majority now save the favicon like they should. Thanks!
