In order to clear all cookies in the browser, a user normally would have to navigate to the Privacy & Security options page, then Show Cookies, and then select Remove All. The purpose of this extension is to simplify this process by removing all cookies when the user clicks on the provided icon in the toolbar. All cookies are removed, regardless of which tab is currently being viewed.

Developer comments

This extension simply calls browser.browsingData.removeCookies({}) when the user clocks on the icon. The message "cookies removed" or "error removing cookies" is displayed on the console.
