The Clockk web extension sends your browsing history to Clockk. Your web browsing history will only be available to you, and will never be shared with another user, and certainly not your employer.
We use your browsing history to show you which web sites and web applications you’ve accessed, so you can remember what you worked on.
We require the full URL and path so that we can gather the information needed to help organize your web access by project.
If you enable “enhanced” permissions for a site, the Clockk web extension may look at HTML elements on the page you’re accessing (such as a username, account number, campaign id, or other identifying details) that help our algorithm organize your web access by project. Enhanced permissions are only needed for sites where the URL is insufficient for our organizing algorithm.
Clockk will from time to time analyze all users’ browsing history, by top-level-domain only, to identify a list of candidate web apps popular among our users to build special support for. Data will be gathered and presented anonymously to Clockk staff. No analytics will be performed on your browsing history.
