Free Version

By default, Dictionariez does not collect any browser information or personal user data. Your lookup history and settings are stored locally in your browser's storage and synced using the browser's built-in sync service.

TTS Trial: Free users can trial our Text-to-Speech (TTS) service with limited usage. When using this feature, the selected text is temporarily sent to our servers to generate speech audio.

Pro Version

If you subscribe to PNL Pro, we collect and store the following data to provide cloud synchronization and premium services:

• Lookup History: Words you've looked up and their associated data
• User Preferences: Some of your settings and dictionary configurations
• Account Information: Basic account details necessary for authentication and service provision
• TTS Usage: Text content sent for speech synthesis (processed in real-time, not permanently stored)

This data is stored securely on our cloud servers to enable synchronization across your devices.

Text-to-Speech (TTS) Service

Data Processing

When you use the TTS feature:
- Text Content: The selected text is sent to our servers to generate speech audio
- Processing: Text is processed in real-time to create audio output
- Storage: Text content is not permanently stored on our servers after processing
- Usage Limits: Free users have limited TTS usage; Pro users have unlimited access

Audio Generation

• Speech audio is generated using cloud-based TTS services
• Audio files may be temporarily cached for performance optimization
• No personal voice data or recordings are collected from users

Cookies and Local Storage

Free Users

We do not use cookies to store personal information for free users, except for:
- TTS trial usage tracking (to enforce usage limits)

Pro Users

We use cookies and local storage to:
- Maintain your login session
- Store authentication tokens
- Remember your Pro subscription status
- Track TTS usage and preferences
- Provide a seamless cross-device experience

Third-Party Services

This extension integrates with various dictionary websites and services. These third-party services may use cookies or web storage according to their own privacy policies. Dictionariez does not modify or control third-party behavior. Your interactions with these services are governed by their respective privacy policies, just as if you visited their websites directly.

Our TTS service may utilize third-party speech synthesis providers, which process text according to their own privacy policies.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data during transmission and storage. Your Pro account data is encrypted and stored securely on our servers. TTS text processing is conducted over secure connections and text content is not retained after processing.

Your Rights

• Pro Users: You can request deletion of your cloud data by contacting us
• All Users: You can opt out of our services at any time
• TTS Users: You can disable the TTS feature in extension settings to stop sending text to our servers
