Dislike for YouTube Shorts por AceHomard

YouTube removed the dislike button from the Shorts player in June 2026. This extension re-adds it.

When you click it, the extension replays the exact same authenticated request YouTube's own web client makes on regular videos (the internal like/dislike endpoint still accepts requests for Shorts). Your disliked Shorts are remembered locally so the button stays lit as you scroll, and it silently reconciles with the real state YouTube stores server-side (so a dislike you made elsewhere shows up here too).

Honest status: this restores the button and the action. A successful request means YouTube accepted your dislike. It does NOT promise anything about how YouTube weighs Shorts dislikes in recommendations, that isn't verifiable from outside, and we don't claim it.

• No data leaves your browser except your own dislike action, sent straight to YouTube using your existing session.
• Works on Chromium browsers and Firefox.
