This is an EXCELLENT add-on that makes Disqus actually usable. I've just confirmed that it seems to be working perfectly with both the new Disqus and classic Disqus which is still available in the login menu.

Works well. Wish I'd found it months ago.

this doesn't actually expand comments in your notification page, or panel. that's all i am looking for. if you could automatically replace the "card-comment-truncated truncate-line" class with the "comment-message expanded" line every single comment would be automatically expanded to full, which is what i thought this extension did....but it doesn't, i still have to do it manually on every page load

Awesome stuff! That extension has all the functionality out of the box and works flawlessly for me. Please read the instructions at support site (which is github page actually), to find everything you need (I was searching for "Expand all" button myself). This is the only tip: that tutorial should be more visible to users.
