Nothing shows up for this Add-on when trying to view an ODP file. No Icon in toolbar either although FireFox shows it as installed. Must have missed the instructions, didn't find anything on how to use it or troubleshoot.

Установка этого приложения задачу не решила: по-прежнему выдается запрос на сохранение файла, выбор приложения из числа установленных, и выбор в этом списке браузера лишь открывает еще одну вкладку, и выдает запрос повторно. Firefox 84.0b8 x64.

Got this extension because I was hoping it would allow me to open RTF files from my desktop and apparently it can't do that, though everyone else seems to give it raving reviews or just 5 Stars and with most of them nott saying anything kind of makes me slightly suspicious, but that is probably just me, so I can't easily recommend this.

Essential addon, should be built into FF. Works perfectly for google search results for doc*, xls*, ppt. Test by doing a google search for "Best filetype:xlsx", rightclick the icon to open in new tab. Keeps original page title, is session persistent.
Limitations (Otherwise would be 5 stars):
1. problems with different link formats (Firefox user 14393471 below), eg the icon appeared on a link which was a graphic, but it seemed to be over-ridden by the graphic link, hovering couldn't get the "open this...file" popup to appear. (placement issue? fixable by right click menu item as a backup to the icons. At least it found the link - 2 other addons didn't) .
2. Description needs updating: uses ms view app; no toolbar icon or options; doesn't find pdf (not necessary - FF does) or csv; cannot preview local PC files (they have to be on the net).

DOES NOT WORK INSTALLED IN FIREFOX, ATTMEPTED TO OPEN SEVERAL PDF FILES KEPT SHOWING A BLANK GREY PAGE WITH CANT DO IT SELECT OTHER TO OPEN PDF, NOT SIMPLE NOT EASY NOT SEAMLESS...NOT USABLE

Didn't work here. Keeps offering for save files instead open it in browser!

Does not animate .gifs in ODT. Useless.

Got it for opening PPT online and it does not work.

It works i can view pages online, sadly it is not compatible with dark reader extension.

remove auto fit to page its ugly. Addon must show doc file in scale 1:1
