On privacy front, DDG and Startpage still receive an A from most privacy reviews of policies and TOS and that's with very strict guidelines that hold places like Brave, Proton, Mozilla, etc. at B grade. There is also a difference between privacy, security, and censorship. Prime example is Odysee which ranks down with Google, MS, Apple, and others in big tech in terms of their privacy grades yet people associate not censoring with privacy.

I can no longer support DDG if they are against free speech.
We are adults. We have the right to our own opinions and research. Do not take that away! - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 17394303, hace 3 años

In fact, I am a vocal critic to those that I know who are considering using them. They broke the trust.

These stories and the accusations are not true. If you can't find something on DuckDuckGo, please let us know what it is specifically and we'll investigate. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 17388167, hace 3 años

Nevertheless, DuckduckGo deleted several large pirate sites from search results, among them The Pirate Bay, 1337x, Fmovies, Nyaa.see and LookMovie.io. Before that, you stated that you would delete from the issuance of "propaganda". I think that you yourself violate your rules and in particular Firefox policies about the free Internet.
P.S. I delete this expansion and will discourage them to enjoy your acquaintances.Respuesta del desarrollador

Stop treating people like morons. Just give us the unfiltered searches and let us deiced what we want and don't want to see.

I have been using Browser, Extension and Mobile App for the last Year now and it has made me feel safer and more secure when searching for things. Especially useful is the "burn" function for mobile devices, where you can delete all browser data with just one touch. I recommend this browser to anyone that wants to have a normal web experience while still being anonymous for any reason.
