This is one of the best extensions I've ever used. Google is of course in a constant tug of war with those who dare to try watching things offline without paying Google for the privilege. Occasionally, they succeed in breaking extensions like this one. The developer of this extension always finds a way to get it working again, and quickly. It's a never-ending process, and this dev deserves your support for such an excellent, well-maintained project.

I want to thank the developer of this app for allowing me and many other people that don't have internet in their homes to download youtube videos to watch at home. All these years i've been using it and every time youtube tried to block the app, the dev (or devs) always found a sollution to bring it back up. So thank you very much.

Now you have to pay to download videos with resolution higher than 360p.

the best add on for youtube downloader

One of the best addons on Firefox, a must have for any Firefox user.

1st mistake is saying it can't convert the video to mp3 because you need to pay for more powerful infrastructure by joining the "pro" tier. Yeah right lulz, just use clip grab.

2nd offense the plugin doesnt work anyway no matter what format you try to download. All videos fail.

I've used this for years, and to be frank I liked it. Unfortunately, the app no longer works now.

Keep in mind that this does not seem to be the fault of the app itself; I've noticed that several other downloaders have experienced the same issue in that instead of the video, you download a 5 minute MP4 that says it's not available on this app and to watch it on YouTube.

Since this is happening to multiple Download apps, I can only assume that YouTube itself has found a way to trick these addons into downloading these empty MP4 clips instead of the video.

In short, I hope this app gets around this new issue; In the meantime, screw YouTube with a jackhammer.

This is an excellent application - whether your motivation is avoiding the incessant tide of advertising on YouTube, or to download hour-long science lectures to your personal library to listen to when you don't have an internet connection. Or, in my case, both.
When YouTube changes it's blocking methods, Dishita is quickly on the case to evade the new blocks.
Dishita asked me to write a review, and I did BECAUSE I THINK IT'S A GREAT APP. That's the extent of bribery and corruption. I should enter politics. If I could lower myself to it.

Easy-YouTube-Video-Downloader is one of the truly easiest and most dependable programs I have ever used. Not only does it work well, but the support staff are readily available to help you. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

By far my favorite YouTube downloader. My only issue right now is the 720p isn't available, but it's happened before and been fixed quickly. Hopefully that will be the case this time because 360p just doesn't cut it.

I have completed the donation and updated to the latest version. But my Payment mail still cannot download the video. Hope it is resolved soon.

Great and very useful Addon, always keeping up with the changes on Youtube after a few days. Also nice and helpful support. Worth donating something every now and then. I'm using ist since 5 years or so.

Now can't download in 720p unless you pay for it. Only 360p download is a crap.
