Works well. Developer regularly updates to address each time that YouTube changes affect downloading.

This add-on is perfect: works all the time, effective, fast, user-friendly and, most of all, when Youtube issues downloading restrictions, the day after they are fixed immediately.
I believe people who say this doesn't work caught one of these (very frequent) moments. In these occasions we just have to wait for the "patch" which is normally ready in 1 or 2 days.

I signed up specifically to review this add-on as it has not been working correctly for several weeks now and the recent spat of 5 star reviews is suspicious to say the least.

Firstly - this is a great add-on WHEN IT WORKS. You can download YT videos up to 720p fuss-free, that's fantastic.

Now, for the past few weeks the add-on has constantly failed to work, 1 time out of 20 you might be able to refresh the page and it will work but looking at the reviews here over the past few weeks it seems that the plugin fails for everyone but paying subscribers.

If this is a change the author has implemented they have yet to comment on it. If this is due to another of YT's own backend changes that periodically break this and other plugins, then we just have to wait for the author to fix the problem. That's fine and they have consistently done just that for years now, for which I am very grateful. However as long as they stay silent, we don't know if this is by their design or not and that is why they have received so many bad reviews here recently.

Open and honest communication is always the best policy, then there's no need for carpet-bombing with fake bot 5 star reviews to drown out the genuine reviews.

This is my go-to for downloading YouTube videos. Today being 08/16 here in the Philippines a popup window has appeared a couple of times when downloading and it caused the download to fail. Let me stress that it has nothing to do with Easy YouTube Downloader Express - it's a YouTube thing.
When you click "No Thanks" the popup windows goes away and you can proceed with your download(s) as usual. Some of you may not get this popup window and some will - it may depend on where you are...Thanks Dishita...

Absolutely great. The developer (unlike many others) keeps current with updates, and the thing works like a champ. I purchased the premium version, and will be happy to donate to the cause again - when I get paid. Thanks so much!

In general, it's easy to use but the are some minor visual bugs and sometimes doesn't show the video is being downloaded.

This Youtube Downloader is fastest I know, I already donate to this developer, not because I want to download full HD video, the Mp4 360 is good enough for me, I just want to keep some info I learn from the videos. I wish he continue do the work. Thanks and thumb up !

During these times of global unemployment finding a program that is so useful and supportive over a wide range of media represents a major accomplishment that even the closest app Video Downloaded is starting to fail to provide. There are so many media providers that promote "redistribution" of "wealth" for everyone OTHER than themselves. Being able to download material which often becomes "censored" or otherwise "Deleted" is a Godsend to those of us who wish to remain educated. Apologies is that sounds too political, just a fact of life these days. This is from another programmer who have been providing Free Software and low cost means for people to protect themselves and friends from all manner of Pathogens (without the need of Drugs nor Masks) for decades too. I have been using this downloader for several years and it is without a doubt the best I have ever used...BY FAR. This is simply the easiest and fastest I've ever experienced. So good that I plan on donating as well as submitting this review. You won't be disappointed.
