Please be aware that YouTube discourages downloads and frequently changes codes, so don't blame the this add-on for that glitch. I have noticed that my "download as" button was missing recently and I just updated the add-on and it's back again. Thank you for your great work Dishita!

Developer works hard to keep updated and working even though Youtube works to prevent this kind of downloading. I'm happy to support this plug-in with a donation.

This was my 'Go-To' for video DLs for a couple of years, but it stopped working on Mac/Firefox over a year ago. I'm still hoping it will get fixed, but don't know how to report it. It's in my Add-Ons + gets updated, but it doesn't load in my browser. Now I still have no video DL tool. :( But for the years before this happened, it worked great + I would have given it 5 stars. This review was written April 18, 2025 (not 4 years ago, as it oddly states while i post this)

It is the only youtube downloader that has always worked in Chrome. It is a life-saver!

Great add-on and easy to use

Youtube plays a game, a sick one that changes things so that recording becomes impossible. THEY want to herd us into blind submission. Use this if you don't want to be their lemming. This is one of the few that works great and keeps current.
