I works. All the links work. There is now in the list of files a "Donate" entry and there are quite a few nagware "please donate" screens that appear when you start Firefox about once a week. But you can ignore them.

I've used this for years — it is well worth supporting. As Firefox and/or Youtube are updated, this extension is quickly updated to keep working.

I'd give it six starts out of five.

I only occasionally download a video but this plug in worked well most of time. YouTube do periodically change their code to break the download attempt, but the author has been diligent in releasing the fixes.

Try it. You'll never want to be without it again. Also flip the guy a few bucks every now and then, He's one guy, and he stays ahead of the whole team of Youtube coders. Amazing. Smart dude.

Beyond doubt, it is the best youtube downloader I have ever come across in decades. Easy to use and absolutely hassle free, that too at a great speed- really a great time saver.

1080 is still not available, thought the developer says it is. If I could post pictures I would of it saying its not available, and YES I have the latest updates. However 720 and below work flawlessly. great downloader! Its worthy of the add! woulda been 5 stars, if it would DL 1080

Reliable, frequently updated, work when other apps fail.

I thought that this would be just another add-on that would be a joke, but this video downloader does an incredible job in downloading stuff that I can put on flash drives and watch later, without having to use as much WI-fi. I prefer this to one of the best.

Use all the time to convert talk shows to mp3 for use in car, well worth the ten bucks.

this is, by far, the BEST YouTube downloader I've ever found..the "Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express" is an easy to use, reliable free product that makes saving favorite videos a breeze. also, the developer is great at keeping up with the changes at YouTube and responds to them with timely updates - and imho, it's very generous of them to share such a helpful addon that they could easily just keep for themselves. I, for one, am 100% grateful that they're willing to do so.

Great guy for doing this all himself. Reviewing to support because I think what he is doing is awesome. This is it! The best youtube downloader in the Mozilla store! Super easy to use, no problems, I imagine very young children can easily be taught how to DL their favorite "Youtubers" in a few minutes. I think this is a great tool, excellent extension and it's functionality is far superior to other "add-on Downloaders" I have used in the past.
