por beat_truck, hace 5 añosSeems to work well. It's nice not having crap from China pop up every time you do a search.

- Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18800218, hace 6 mesesSince I live in a small country, what I need is the reverse - I do NOT want to be limited to my own or nearby countries. I want the worldwide searches! eBay used to be great but now (2024/5) they prevent me from searching worldwide and force only US or Europe searches (or my own, little country). Extremely frustrating. The world is large - US and Europe together don't even cover the majority of eBay's potential customers.

So easy to use and provided great flexibility that ebay don't want to provide to us ebay users/victims :-). - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18287501, hace un añoThis should have been done by eBay, thank you for fixing this irritation.

- Se valoró con 1 de 5por pineybreeze, hace 6 añosI would really love to use this add-on, since eBay has been ignoring user requests for this option for years. However, requiring the "Access your data for all websites" permission, which gives the add-on access to your usernames and passwords is a dealbreaker.
Reply to developer response: Thanks for the github link, but like most people, I am not able to read programming code, so it doesn't really help me. Even if I were able to verify what you say is true, it makes no sense to give any add-on that kind of access (except a password manager) - what if someone found a way to exploit it? It seems to me permissions should be configured in such a way that a plugin can check to see whether you're on a certain site without needing access to all your usernames and passwords for every single site you log in to.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 6 añosThanks for the feedback, this extension does not access any of the user data. In fact it does not even run until the user loads an eBay link, in which case it gets a copy of the link to determine whether it is an eBay search or not. Once the eBay search has been updated, this extension goes back to sleep mode.

Would be even better if could choose country/region, rather than it being auto-detected (?)
