It's a great plugin, does most of what I was wanting... But, can I request you add some way to automatically turn off ambient mode? I exclusively use dark mode and delete cookies on exit. I'm using a 2nd plugin just to turn off ambient mode.

Like many I installed this extension after the truly awful update that Youtube performed, placing comments off to the side in order to give us more videos to endlessly click on and distract us (this update also broke Return Youtube Dislikes which is an utterly crucial feature).

This extension works for that, and has some other features, but the one driving me crazy now is the one that pops up a video when we scroll down to read comments.

An excellent idea! However, I CANNOT GET IT TO WORK. Sometimes it pops up the video, other times it doesn't. It is maddening! Closing the window and using search to go back to the video often works... but, not always. Or similar things sometimes work, ... but, not always.

The uncertainty is so disturbing I unfortunately have to turn this feature off and do without it.

Hope something can be done!

ETA: I see that the when the popup video does not work, the toolbar is also not loaded. So that is some hint as to what is going on.

ETA: Following comments further down, I found that removing all the google and youtube cookies seems to fix this problem and it now seems to work perfectly! (Had to also restart firefox as some youtube icons disappeared)

I love this extension but after youtube updated their layout the thumbnails on desktop are huge. When I disable the extension the thumbnails go back t o normal size

Developer just updated it so the default video player is correctly displayed after the terrible YouTube update this month. Works great. Thanks!

I wish I discovered this earlier! This actually makes Youtube an enjoyable, functioning website again. Crazy how one guy can do all this and a whole team of employees cannot.

Main reason I use the Enchaner is because of Youtube's recent update where comments are off to the side and suggested videos are now underneath. It was an abomination for the eyes and user experience and this Enhancer puts things back to where they were.

The pop-up player is ridiculously useful and I love it to pieces.

given the recent ui changes, this is very useful; however, scrolling with the trackpad does not work, and navigation must be done with the arrow keys.

Great add-on, but after the latest YT UI change, when not in theater mode the right side of the video gets cropped along with the player buttons past •••

It says "You need an updated version of Firefox for this extension" on Firefox ESR v115.9.1

Can you add a setting that will automatically enable miniplayer when you search for a new video while already watching a video. This is so the current video will not be closed when searching for a new video.
