I have had the fakespot add-on for a long time and it worked beautifully until I 1st got the notice that it had been acquired by Mozilla. I have had Mozilla products for years and love them, but Fakespot no longer works well when I am logged into Amazon. I do not shop at e-Bay much so can't comment on that or any other website, but if it continues to be difficult to use with Amazon I will have to uninstall it.

This stops you from having to go through loads of "Top 10 Best PRODUCT" blog posts (which are all just more paid advertisements let's be real) to find which of the product I want to buy. I can just go on Amazon and trust that the reviews that are legit based on Fakespot's ratings. Their summary page is very useful.

Stupid 403 forbidden

The idea is better than the pracicality as the pop-up notifications are overly intrusive and get in the way. They slow down your ability to make decisions with their attention-seeking nature. Great idea but the implementation obscures your navigation. Give us a traffic light instant, at-a-glance notification without the tome, please.

Sadly Amazon has been overrun by fake reviews. I wonder may is some of people who get paid to make fake Amazon reviews come here to leave negative reviews.

Pretty good add-on, could you add an option to only have a pop up appear if the seller is questionable or bad?

I used to like Fakespot a lot. However, more recently it feels like the data is completely off. I can see a well-known reputable brand like Sony that I trust to not be buying fake reviews get a solid F. The reasoning doesn't even seem valid. Then some junky unknown brand/product gets an A rating with what are clearly bad reviews.
Furthermore, the A-F ratings don't actually help me decide if the product itself is good, so I don't actually get actionable information for making a purchase.
I don't know what they're using for training data or feedback for their ML models, but it doesn't appear to be working.

The Fakespot sorting function doesn't appear on Amazon UK with Firefox, yet it works with Brave and Chrome. It's a pity since it's a really useful feature.

The intent of this is good but ever since I installed it my pages are completely different in font, color design. I have to scroll 10 times just to see what used to be right at the top.

I like using this add-on for browsers. Occasionally there isn't enough info to rate something but generally I'm happy with it

Worked fine until Firefox updated to 107.01. Now it doesn't display any info. It says "guard is loading" then disappears.
