publicado el hace 8 añosHey. Unfortunately it is true, this is not FireGesture. There are some API limitations for Firefox 57 and above. Read the Addon description for more informations.
And because of your request, look here: https://github.com/Robbendebiene/Gesturefy/issues/58 - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 12841763, hace 8 añosThanks for this smooth and nice gesture addon :) Would love a gesture option for 'copy link location' in future. Overall a solid gesture for Quantum and thanks again!
Edit: Thanks for adding copy link URL in latest update! and it's sad to see ignorant users giving negative rating and negative review, only because of Webextension limitation to work on internal pages. Totally not developers fault and I hope you will always motivated to share this awesome extension despite those ignorant users to read description :) - Se valoró con 3 de 5por Headhunter, hace 8 añosFar below the possibilities of DragIt (formerly Drag & Go).
Where is the possibility to put any text in the search bar
With subsequent selection of the search engine? - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 12956000, hace 8 años
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13470674, hace 8 añosWorks great. Any chance that gestures would work on blank pages too?

publicado el hace 8 añosSadly no, but you can change the new tab page to a website via extensions like "New Tab Override". - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 5671868, hace 8 añosThis good replacement for FireGestures, but I need one very important to me function. Please, please, PLEASE, when I make a search of the selected text by gesture, not do it just by one of search engine, give me a list of my installed search engines. I always need a search on various websites, not just a google or somethings. This was in FireGestures, it's a killerfeature to me, I can't use Chrome or New Firefox without it. Thanks.

publicado el hace 8 añosHey. Do you use Linux or MacOS? Then look here:
> For MacOS & Linux users: Use left or middle mouse button due to the different right click/context menu behaviour (see this bug ( https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1360278 ))
Also note that:
> The addon does not work on https://addons.mozilla.org, pure svg pages and internal pages like about:newtab, about:addons or other addon option pages. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Samisan, hace 8 años
- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13469455, hace 8 añosGood replacement for old Fire Gestures. Sleek options design, nice gesture visual and sweet bonus gestures

And here: https://github.com/Robbendebiene/Gesturefy/issues/6- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13468381, hace 8 añosYou get 5 stars for style and coding skill - but also because you're planning to recreate the "Save Image Now" feature from the old FireGestures addon. (This feature instantly & silently saved any jpg, png, gif, etc to the Downloads folder.)
I've used that gesture at LEAST a hundred times a day for the last 5+ years. It has saved me COUNTLESS hours of clicking through menus. Please make it priority? I will name my firstborn kid after you. Seriously.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 8 añosI'll give my best :) but it will have problems to figure out the right file extensions for unnamed images, so you will have to add it your self (that was the reason why I didn't implemented it yet) - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Castor, hace 8 añosCHANGED ★ TO ★★★★★
Now it works on Linux.
Some years ago I tried to find web-extension as alternative to FireGestures and now it is (not full replace but basic functionality which enough to everyday use). Respuesta del desarrollador

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13467733, hace 8 añosGood extension, has all the gesture functionality that I need although I run into a bit of an issue with opening tabs.
I like all my new tabs to open at the end of the tab row which is achievable by going into about:config and setting browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent to false. This opens all tabs at the end of the tab row however for some reason when I open new tab from a link via a mouse gesture it doesn't obey this behaviour and instead opens it next to the current tab.
If there was an option for the behaviour that I want that would be excellent. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Isthatyourzebra, hace 8 añosDoesn't work on new blank tabs or setting pages.
Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 8 añosHey. Unfortunately that is true, it is an api limitation. But that's in the description.
> The addon does not work on https://addons.mozilla.org, pure svg pages and internal pages like about:newtab, about:addons or other addon option pages. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 12889199, hace 8 añosReally happy about how this works, other similar extensions were a bit too sensitive when it came to how the gestures were drawn but this has the perfect balance.
- Se valoró con 3 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13362736, hace 8 añosGood extension, beautifull and efficient, work under fedora 27 (ff57) but with the left button, I prefer the right button that's why I have 3 stars
- Se valoró con 5 de 5por matif525, hace 8 añosIt's a nice addon. Here are some features suggests:
1. Add gestures for in/decrease page number.
2. Is it possible to add feature for drag text/image/links to right/left direction for useful command?Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 8 añosIn/decrease page number will be available in the next version.
The second feature is possible, but would take some effort. - Se valoró con 3 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 12337182, hace 8 añosThe Left click option doesn't seem to work on Linux. Because of this it's hard to use things like left click scroll mouse because you almost have to use the middle click (scroll mouse) to active.
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13463699, hace 8 añosI am a Linux user, setting the middle button as Gesture button is as good as it gets. Easy and intuitive configuration, it does what I need as a former user of FireGestures.
- Se valoró con 3 de 5por Matthew Miller, hace 8 añosI'm giving this three stars because I appreciate the effort and I know it's not the extension-writers' fault. Realistically, though, this is 1 star compared to FireGestures and what we had before.
