TEACHERS!!!
I thought it would be best for me to clarify something for all you teachers out there. I am not currently partnered with Google in any way, shape, or form, and am not a teacher (on the contrary, an incoming college freshman) and do not have access to a Google Workspace for Education account, therefore, I do not have access to systems and features that you can see and use on the daily. This makes it difficult for me to provide accurate accessibility styling for any features not included in the base version of Google Classroom. I am currently in the process of contacting Google in an attempt to gain testing access to a Google Workspace for Education account and/or becoming a Google for Education Partner and possibly gain access for me to be able to continue to properly style the extension past the current point. In the meantime, if there is something that does need styling that you think I do not have access to, please email me using the contact email for the extension and we could potentially work together to update the extension. Also, to clarify, the extension does not collect any of your data. It uses the storage function to save your selected colour mode on the extension, or if you have it disabled, so the next time you come to classroom your settings are saved and reapplied.

All the code used for the dark mode is original, therefore there will be bugs and areas that are not the correct colour, style, etc. Please let me know if there is something that is does not look visually correct.

We are aware that there are some spots that still need some work and we're still working through the re-write of the program, however, we decided to release this version early due to the lack of updates available. We plan on releasing a patch that includes a more finished look in the coming days.

We're back with a completely re-written codebase after 6 years to implement a more modern and refreshed UI that looks better, functions better, and helps save your eyes!

Updates:
- Refreshed extension menu with a new UI
- Added a feature to turn on/off dark mode based on system theme

Bug Fixes:
- Themes now only apply on Google Classroom
- It's actually dark now

This extension will transform your Google Classroom to a way cooler dark version. It is fully functional, but may have areas that were untouched and are being worked on currently.
