I entered the path of the page but it didn't work...
I entered like this "file:///G:/path/file.html" but nothing happened.
I understand! Thank you for your kindness!!Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 7 añosI did some research and it looks like Firefox 57 won't allow extensions to open local files. :(

However, I have temporarily reduced a star in the rating because I noticed that your latest update requires permission to 'Download files and read & modify my download history' and I wasn't completely sure why that was needed. Can you please shed some light on this?
EDIT: Thanks a lot for the quick reply! That commit explains the changed permissions.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 7 añosHappy to explain. Access to the download manager was needed for the export options function (implemented in v0.4). Given the constraints of WebExtensions, the easiest way to deliver a file to the user is via downloads. You can confirm from the source code (available on GitHub) that this is the only use of the download manager. - Se valoró con 1 de 5by stefanf, hace 7 años

James Anderson, you're making me more productive and a happier person because I'm less exposed to the never-ending flow of bad news and nonsense of mass media... the guilty, non-focused 5-minute attention span of sudden twitter feed wrath... which I now block for most of the day. Hurray! Instead I can focus on reading more indepth news at appropriate times.
The NG (NextGen) version takes advantage of WebExtension features by appropriately reporting which data it needs access to and control over. This is a huge step forwards. It also installs faster and options panel seems more responsive.
I installed it and it worked first time -- I configured it, and it triggered first time I tried visiting a blocked site... without having to restart Firefox!
A few users have started reviewing a work-in-progress and complaining about features that are being developed or have arrived shortly after. You people should participate in development on Github instead. - Se valoró con 5 de 5by Usuario de Firefox 11483598, hace 7 años

I don't need a countdown to the next time my filters are going to activate. I block all websites after a certain time of night and for this use case it's just an annoyance.

publicado el hace 7 añosThanks for the feedback. I will add an option to hide the timer in the next release. - Se valoró con 4 de 5by knightontherim, hace 7 añosI've been using LeechBlock for years and I'm glad James has made it v57 compatible, but I really miss the access control tab. The lack of it really limits the functionality of the add-on. Nevertheless, this is the best program of its kind that I've ever found.

- Se valoró con 5 de 5by Pike, hace 7 añosAbsolutely the best extension of its kind. I tried a lot of alternatives while waiting for the new WebExtensions version and none of them do what I want the way this one does. Easy to use and very customizable... works great! Huge props to the dev for porting it over to the new version.

It's great as a small little reminder to get back to work when opening up Facebook's become so instinctual. I'm glad this addon made it through the switch to WebExtensions.
Would be nice to have a quick toggle for turning on/off different block sets rather than disabling the extension or messing with the when-to-block time period/limit logic. - Se valoró con 4 de 5by Philipp, hace 7 añosWorks well. A bit of UI work in the settings to make it less confusing to use would be nice -- but that doesn't make this addon less useful.

I noticed though that there does not seem to be a way to add a site to a blocklist if the list is marked as inaccessible during block hours. With the old leechblock I could click the toolbar icon and select "add to list" and pick one. Now, however, clicking the toolbar icon only takes me to a window to set up block lists with no option to add to a list that is locked.
Edit: thanks for the reply! I did see the add-on was labeled as experimental, just wanted to make sure this was noted just in case it was overlooked.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 8 añosThanks for the review. That feature will be coming soon! I wanted to get a basic working version out there before adding all the other features/options.
