by Usuario de Firefox 13774846, hace 7 añosBest TTS add-on, yes, but a few suggestions:
1. All voices starting as disabled took a bit to figure out, especially with the unresponsive save button, I wasn't sure if it was doing anything. I suspect this might be why it did 'not work' for some.
2. Reading an academic pdf still took close to 3 minutes for a single page, on the fastest setting. For a 20-page article, that's close to an hour. Would highly appreciate an increased upper limit.
Otherwise, terrific add-on. No hangups, no pauses between lines, and customization!
Edit: Which voice? I was using the Microsoft Hazel (British English) voice. The US voices (David & Zira) seemed a little faster.

It does sound robotic, but that's probably because my computer has robotic voices, so that's probably not the fault of the extension itself. - Se valoró con 4 de 5by Nihil Adest, hace 3 añosSeems like a good add on, you just have to right click and use the option below. However, I really don't like that I can't just click the button at the top to activate it. I want to know if this app can be used on google docs cause that's mostly what interests me. Is there any other way it can be activated other than the right click, and if there isn't can you implement one?

It can only read selected text, not whole pages, and it can't skip back and forward, it can only be paused and stopped, and only with on screen buttons.
Not practical. - Se valoró con 1 de 5by Usuario de Firefox 12298493, hace 5 años

Now the only problem is whenever you make it read something in a new tab, for some reason it starts reading in a completely different voice. If you stop it and try again it works normally, still a bit irritating though considering I only have 1 voice enabled.

If it helps, I find pause not working with at least two other extensions:

Also, the name of the installed extension (multilanguagetexttospeechtts) does not match the name here. Can you make it match the name here?
Thanks. - Se valoró con 5 de 5by xerca, hace 6 años
