If you could integrate prime video (because it sometimes thinks my high end gaming pc is to weak for 1080p) that would be great.

publicado el hace 8 mesesThis is normal behavior and due to filling the streaming buffer from Netflix. Thank you for your review, it is greatly appreciated! - Se valoró con 5 de 5by Usuario de Firefox 17792553, hace 9 mesesNetflix app on the Microsoft Store started requiring Microsoft Edge with the latest update so I went back to using it in Firefox. The addon does what it exactly says. However I would like to know if the dev can allow us to select specific codecs like AVC, AVC-high, VP9 and AV1 alongside the resolution selector. Currently 1080p defaults to VP9 and 1080p+ defaults to AVC-high.

publicado el hace 8 mesesThis could definitely be something to add for advanced features in a future release. Thank you for your suggestions and feedback! - Se valoró con 5 de 5by Chris, hace 9 mesesDefinitely works really well!!! Easy to modify the options and verify that the changes have been applied right away! Full 1080p + under Linux, thank you so much for this!

Update:
It works for most, but not for all videos - sometimes is 720p or even 540p when on TV is 1080 available. I.e. this one: netflix.com/watch/81488656 - addon shows 1080+, but picture is so poor like 540p.
But when it works, it works great!Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 9 mesesAfter you start a title on Netflix, you can bring up the stats window by pressing CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+D, which would be a 100% reliable metric to judge functionality. You will see the actual streaming resolution as well as several other stats, such as audio playback to verify. Keep in mind that it will take Netflix a short time to buffer to HD resolution when you first start watching; this is normal. If you have one of the 1080p presets chosen and it is available on the title you are watching, it will match closely to the screenshot below taken today.
This addon is working as intended, as you can see from over 1,000 users and several ratings. It was also updated yesterday to reflect the most recent Netflix updates. It would be greatly appreciated if you could verify via Netflix's built-in stats in case there is a bug or a simple misunderstanding; please consider updating your very low rating.

- Se valoró con 5 de 5by SPC, hace 9 mesesThe quality on Firefox is 720p, because Netflix is a small indie company with a limited budget and fixing such things is a low priority. Thankfully this amazing plug-in exists.

publicado el hace 10 mesesThank you for your report. This addon has no effect on fullscreen vs. windowed, and it is also the first report of such an issue. It is possible you might have a conflict with another addon, or even a video driver problem. Does the issue persist with a clean install of the latest Firefox and/or disabling any other addons? After your report, I've tested this addon on both Windows and Linux and have no problems with fullscreen. If trying these steps resolves your issue, or further assistance is needed, please consider a follow-up and an update to your rating. It would be greatly appreciated.- Se valoró con 5 de 5by 25 > 24, hace 10 mesesIt works. It should be illegal for Netflix to force 720p on PC's when it's a paid service. Thanks.
