NewsifAI helps you research with confidence by helping you know which sources aren’t reliable and/or trustworthy. It works on most websites, but it works best on news outlets.

➤ How it works

The extension automatically scans the text on every site you visit, and runs it through an AI model. This AI determines if the text on the site is fake or not. The AI will also highlight specific sentences that are determined to be fake.

➤ Does it get in the way of reading text?

It usually doesn’t, but you always have the option to turn off highlights and auto-detect.

➤ Does the extension save user data? (Privacy concerns)

We do not have a way to access data that is sent to the AI, and the extension does not save any user data. Our AI code is public and available for you to see:
