Is the add-on to blame?

What version of Firefox are you using, and are containers enabled?

When the add-on opens a page in a container, Firefox has to close the original tab first.
If that tab is the only one in the window, Firefox closes the window, which can look like a crash.
This is expected behavior and will be improved in a future update.
