Proton Pass por Proton

por rptb1, hace 8 mesesProton Pass has an attractive front end, but few technical advantages over e.g. Firefox password manager. Most of its fancy features don't work properly. It has many false positives for "re-used passwords" and "weak passwords" making its advice meaningless. I'm hoping it develops more actual function and not just surface buzzword stuff.
Oh, and it's only "free" for basic use. They will *totally* pressure you to buy more services.

For example, Proton Pass introduced custom item types a while back, and within like a day, all their clients (mac, linux, chrome extension, etc) rolled out an updated version that supports them. Well, all except for the Firefox extension. Thus, custom item types can't even be seen - much less used - within Firefox. Otherwise this is a great extension with a pleasant UI.

publicado el hace 15 horasThank you for your review. The update for the Proton Pass Firefox extension is coming soon. Firefox sometimes takes a longer time to validate the updates of our extension, therefore the Firefox extension may receive the updated version and make it available to users a bit later after its release. We appreciate your patience in the meantime. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 15167055, hace un día

Here in the Firefox Add-On Store still the old one from June 5, 2025. I still have problems on many pages that the automatic filling does not work. I have reported these pages to Proton, but nothing happens.

As for the websites you've reported having autofill issues with, you may rest assured that they've been documented accordingly for future improvement. Thank you for your patience and understanding regarding this matter. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 17350036, hace 4 días

- the pop-up add-on window itself is the perfect size, which is especially commendable because there is nearly no functionality lost due to being crammed into a small box
- I love that I can add, update, and edit my Passes anywhere and anytime, without having to get into the Pass app
- it's easy to open up the Pass web app from the extension, though I haven't found myself needing to since downloading the add-on
Honestly, I already love the Proton system, and if this add-on didn't exist, I would never know I needed it. And there's the point of it all - you'll never know just how much you needed this little add-on until you use it!
Seriously, use it. It makes life so much easier!
Thanks Devs!
