publicado el hace 24 díasSorry to hear that. Could you share more details on what exactly doesn't work? We'd be more than happy to help with anything, but we need to have a clear understanding of the issue first. Contact us by navigating to the Proton Pass extension Settings → Support → Report a problem, so we can help you troubleshoot.- Se valoró con 1 de 5por clivejo, hace un mesDespite paying for Pass Plus until 4th August 2025, Proton downgraded me to a free account because I subscribed for VPN!! Apparently you can't have two plans on your account unless you sub to the "Unlimited Plan". No, I don't want Drive, Calender, Mail or Wallet, I wanted Pass and VPN. Stinks of Micro$oft behaviour! Been trying to sort it out with support via ticket for 10 days, who just reply with nonsense. Migrating back to BitWarden, so bye bye Proton.
Reply to Proton - "you're free to utilize only the services that you have use of" as long as we pay for the "Unlimited Plan" I paid for Pass Plus up until 4th August 2025 and I am NOT free to use the services I paid for, because Proton took them away from me!! This is greedy and immoral behaviour, like a shop saying the only way for me to purchase 2 t-shirts is to buy a pack of 7! But 5 of the T-shirts I will never use because they are ugly and will NEVER wear them! This is nothing more than Proton engaging in up-selling for greed and profit, not caring about loyal customers, plain and simple!Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace un mesWe're very sorry to hear that. Note that it is indeed not possible to have two different subscriptions, such as Pass Plus and VPN Plus, active on your Proton account simultaneously. The Proton Unlimited plan gives you access to the premium features of both our Pass and VPN services, as well as the other services that are part of Proton's ecosystem. That said, you're free to utilize only the services that you have use of. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 19057614, hace un mesThe popup to rate the plugin shifts the entire app downward which is really annoying when trying to copy a password

Impossible to use, sorry...
UPD
1) If auto generated password doesn't match site requirements, I have to change it manually both on the site and manually copy to Proton PM, since it doesn't see the password was changed.
2) Proton PM doesn't recognize the situation when I change password and it makes multiple records for the same site.
3) Proton PM sometimes mix up 'sign-up' and 'sign-in', so it fills in a new password instead of using existing one.Respuesta del desarrollador

- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Delta, hace 3 mesesAwful product. No credit cards unless you pay, every other password manager allows this for free. I have premium and it STILL lacks features: no keyboard shortcuts to autofill, wallet items can not have letters in the card number (insurance, driver's licenses, health cards), expiry dates are month/year ONLY. And premium MORE expensive than Bitwarden LOL garbage

publicado el hace 3 mesesSorry to hear that. We offer certain features exclusively on our paid plans to ensure the continued availability of our free plan for users who may not be able to afford to subscribe. It's about striking a balance between offering a free service and providing added benefits to our paid subscribers.
On another note, we've shared your feedback with the team for future consideration. That said, keep in mind that you can create notes or custom fields for more specific items that don't fit the available templates (proton.me/support/pass-custom-field).
Lastly, Proton Pass is headquartered in Switzerland, which has some of the world's strongest privacy laws. However, Switzerland is an expensive country to maintain a service in. Nonetheless, we appreciate your feedback and have taken note of it accordingly. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Pinky the Bat, hace 4 mesesI loved this extension. Then I installed the iOS application, and it told me that my plan did not support autofilling, therefore making this add-on useless. What is the point of a password manager if I can't sync it between multiple devices. Time to reinstall Bitwarden. They aren't as greedy. Nobody has money to pay monthly for a web extension in 2025. I work at a grocery store for 11 hours every day, and barely make enough to live... so no way I'm paying f***ing monthly for a f***ing iOS app. Stop begging me for money. 👎

publicado el hace 4 mesesWe're sorry to hear that. Note that with the Free plan, you can only autofill items from your first vault. That said, autofill of items from multiple vaults is available on our paid plans. Nonetheless, we appreciate your feedback and we've made sure to share it with the team accordingly. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18800306, hace 5 mesesThe extension will use the fill in feature but then not auto save, or even offer to save the login. So it essentially creates a random password that isn't saved anywhere, locking you out of the newly created account. This completely defeats the purpose of saving the password...

publicado el hace 7 mesesTo clarify, an alias is a randomly generated email address that forwards emails to your main inbox. Proton Pass creates aliases so you can enter them into online forms and protect your actual email address from being disclosed or leaked.
That said, we are currently working on integrating the SimpleLogin alias management feature directly into Proton Pass. Once this feature is released in a future update, users will be able to manage their aliases more easily without needing to switch back and forth between Proton Pass and their SimpleLogin accounts.
Hopefully, this clarifies things further. If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us using the 'Feedback & Help' option.

I have one I have used with Foxfire, but now Foxfire won't add it.
Firefox isn't contesting the authenticity of the add-on. I would accept their advice in that matter. This one seems legit and Foxfire is being adamant. Insufficient explanation. I am not pleased.Respuesta del desarrollador

This password manager
1. Forgets to save its own suggested passwords!
2. Randomly logs the user out for no reasonRespuesta del desarrollador

Quite often, it just won't show accounts/passwords that I've got stored in it. Hugely frustrating, and not something I've experienced with any other password manager.

publicado el hace un añoThat doesn't sound right. Please try logging out, then logging back into the extension to see if the entries reappear. If that doesn't work, you can also try the manual sync option that can be found by clicking the Proton Pass icon in the top-left corner of the extension → Advanced. Lastly, do not hesitate to contact us using the 'Feedback & Help' option with more details so we can investigate further. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por r0cket, hace un añoДополнение для ВПН, которое требует регистрации на собственном сервисе, недоступном без ВПН. publicado el hace un añoHi! You can access Proton VPN without an account on the Android app. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18371926, hace un añoI really like the idea of this, but unfortunately it is very user unfriendly. The Pass monitor suggests that I change insecure passwords on websites, but the extension itself prevents me from doing it. It will save log-ins that I had already created myself, but there is no way to change and improve them. In fact, with the 3 fields to fill out (old password, new password and verify new password), the extension makes it impossible. It has been a frustrating experience trying to make ProtonPass do what it should do. Repeatedly trying to get help on Proton's subreddit did not bear fruit.
I have been a paying Proton customer for years, but ProtonPass is a time-consuming disappointment.
Update: Specifically paypal.com and ebay have been impossible. I have tried a number of times over the past months without success. Another issue is that paypal has very specific limitations as to what is accepted in terms of a password (which characters, symbols, password length, etc). Per my experience, and after a lot of time attempting, this cannot be created by ProtonPass.
Update: Passmail does not get accepted on all platforms/sites when opening new accounts.Respuesta del desarrollador
