- Se valoró con 2 de 5por Seth, hace 2 añosA bit buggy, but I have hopes for the future of this extension.
In it's current state, passwords fail to autosave, autofill is shaky and it is probably a good idea to use in conjunction with something like Bitwarden. Hopefully they will resolve this swiftly.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 2 añosHi! Did a password fail to auto-save when you generate it directly through the suggestion while signing up at a certain web service? If so, you can view any generated passwords in the past day by opening the Pass extension → select + → Password → Password history.
This way you can find the password and save it in your login item for which it was created.
As for autofill, could you let us know for which apps/web services it didn't work, so we can document this for future improvement? We're saving all feedback from our community in order to improve autofill further and further in future updates. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 17632393, hace 2 añosStill getting used to it, lock function not working on Firefox, it does on Chrome.

publicado el hace 2 añosThat sounds odd. Can you explain a bit further how the lock function isn't working? What Firefox version are you using? Do you have any other extensions installed, and if so, could you try disabling them to see if there are any incompatibilities by any chance? - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Xodox, hace 2 años
- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Gabarito, hace 2 añosWhen I imported my passwords, I made a mistake and can't delete default vault to start over the importing process. I already have communicated it to Proton Team 6 months ago, but it seems that they did not solve the problem. It happens using free account. I hope, someone is reading this and could add this to todo list. Thanks.

- Se valoró con 1 de 5por C Wolland, hace 2 añosUpon reevaluating the Firefox Extension, Proton Pass, it's clear that it holds true to its commitment of being an entirely private and secure password manager—it efficiently safeguards all your data, metadata included. However, the user interface could see enhancements, particularly in terms of detail management. As it stands at the time of this review, only a limited portion of the screen is available for editing all your details.
A key gripe for me is the inability to adjust your login email address—a restriction that Proton itself doesn't see as crucial, suggesting users subscribe to a new package with a different address if desired. This is puzzling, especially since I've managed to alter my email address on other secure platforms like sync.com, which also incorporate end-to-end encryption. Such experiences affirm that this feature, indeed, can be integrated, even within E2E encryption models' framework.
Despite these early developmental challenges and teething issues—commonplace for any new product—Proton Pass, barring the aforementioned points, proves itself to be an impressive offering.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 2 añosIf you're on a premium plan, you're able to log in with any of the additional email addresses you may have on your single paid account.
It's not possible to alter or disable the original email address tied to your Proton account at the moment, as this is not only used for Pass but all other Proton services as well. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por FollowtheRieper, hace 2 años
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18002534, hace 2 añosWas really looking forward to using this as my first password manager. However, when going through websites and updating old vulnerable passwords, Proton Pass did not save or offer to save the newly updated password. So after using the "suggest strong password" from Proton Pass, it never saves it! What's the point then?
Firefox asked immediately to save these after updating but Proton did not, making it the inferior product at the time of this review. Extremely disappointed and irritated. And yes "Prompt for auto-save" is turned on in the settings.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 2 añosWe're working on improving the autosave functionality for all web services reported by our community. Please feel free to flag any problematic web services or apps to us either by editing your review or by contacting us at pass@protonme.zendesk.com, and we'll note your feedback for future improvements. Thank you for taking the time to rate and review our app! - Se valoró con 1 de 5por ㅤㅤ, hace 2 añosUPDATED ON AUGUST 8: If I spoof my user agent string to identify my web browser as Firefox 110 or any older version, then this add-on interferes with mas.to by blocking the search box and its quick access menu. I have already reported this bug via Proton Customer Support (request #2325002). I'm uninstalling this add-on.

The real-world safety is also taken into account, you can lock the browser extension with a pin code which gives an additional layer of security in case someone steals and runs you laptop from a café terrace when working.

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Dave, hace 2 añosI've tested this in Chromium and in Firefox. In Firefox, it is currently Experimental but seems to work okay.
It won't work with Firefox ESR, only Firefox release channel. It would be much easier for me and probably many others who use Firefox ESR in Linux; no need to install two different versions of Firefox.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 2 añosThank you for sharing your feedback with us.Currently, this is not supported as the extension is built using Manifest V3 which is not supported by Firefox ESR. We will share your interest in this with the team, nevertheless. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 17997214, hace 2 años
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Hmmm, hace 2 añosMaybe I need to change my workflow, but one feature of BitWarden I like is the ability to pop-out the window of the extension. This comes in handy when you need to toggle between the password manager and the page open in the browser or in a browser on a different monitor. With Proton Pass, better not get half-way through creating an alias or login and click outside the extension... or you have to start over.
