Fixes
- Images now actually convert to the format you pick. Previously some images were being saved with the correct extension but the original file format inside — a PNG saved
as .jpg was still a PNG. That's fixed, verified with real tooling.
- Fixed a broken translation file (Brazilian Portuguese) that prevented the extension from loading in some setups.
- If you set a default format in the options page, the right-click menu now shows a single inline "Save image as JPG/PNG/WebP" button instead of a nested submenu.

Removed
- Removed the "Copy image to clipboard" feature and both clipboard permissions (clipboardWrite, clipboardRead). The feature was unreliable on Firefox, and several users
raised reasonable concerns about the permission prompt. The extension now requests fewer permissions than in any prior version.

Under the hood
- Flattened the context menu so format options appear directly in the right-click menu when no default type is set.
- Slimmer install footprint.

Automatic rollback based on version [1.2.0].

Fixed: Image conversion now works correctly using offscreen documents, resolving the issue where saved PNGs were actually JPGs.

Add "View in Store" button toggle and improve UI/UX

  "View in Store" button in the context menu.
• Enhanced the options page with a modernized UI using CSS variables and
  improved styling.
• Introduced a toast notification system for better feedback on
  save/reset actions.

Save Image as Type - Version 1.1.1 – Fixes Implemented:

CORS Issue:
Fixed Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) error that was blocking image loading on real browsers.

"Unexpected src" Error:
Addressed the issue causing the "unexpected src" error, restoring functionality for Midjourney image processing.

General Bug Fixes:
Resolved various bugs from the latest update, ensuring smoother performance and compatibility.


Release Notes for Save Image as Type (v1.1.0)

🎉 New Feature: Default Type Selection! 🎉

You can now set a default image type in the extension options. This means you can save images in your preferred format (JPG, PNG, or WebP) with just one click, without needing to select the format every time.
How to Set a Default Image Type

- Click the extension icon in the Firefox toolbar.

- Select Options from the menu.

- In the Default Image Type dropdown, choose your preferred format (JPG, PNG, or WebP).

- Click Save Options.


Now, when you right-click an image, the extension will automatically save it in your chosen format. If no default is set, you’ll see the full menu with all format options.
