ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'd easily give this 5 stars if I could get it to do what I'm aiming for:
It would be perfect for me, except for the message "skipped automatic macro execution; page repeated too quickly" which ends up "not automatically" performing the macro upon page load (I can still manually run the macro, but that's more work than not using the macro at all).
Would having an option for me to add a time delay after loading the webpage before the macro performs the click allow it to work for me?
What I see when I first load the webpage is very briefly see a red "x" on your extension icon, which is replaced with a red "||" (pause?) symbol.
Here is what I want to do:
1. Click a bookmark to load a webpage.
2. Optionally have the macro wait x.x seconds before clicking a button on the page.
3. Click on a button in the webpage (which in my case ends up taking me to another webpage (but not via a "link").
ps - During my recording process, I think that when I click the button which takes me to the other webpage, the recording "stops" (because the webpage changed) and I'm done creating the macro I want, correct?
Note: You allow me to export to a .json file, but I see no choice to import from that .json file. If I could import a version of that .json (one that I've edited) perhaps I could get it to do what I need. So, please also add an import option. If that allows me to succeed, I'd also rate 5 stars. Thanks.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 5 mesesThe latest version limits throttling to the current tab, so if you open the bookmark in a new tab, the macro will always be executed.
You can add a delay while recording by clicking "add step" in the bottom red bar and selecting "Insert Delay".
Any action that leads to leaving the current webpage will end macro recording.
You can import the exported JSON file by clicking "Import Macro" on the top of the "Manage Macros" page. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18857754, hace 5 mesesThis almost works for what I want, but the automatically stopping macros if they repeat too often is stopping me from using it. Love that I can edit the url the macro is triggered on to account for different endings but I would love a way to stop it from turning itself off to just mass repeat a tedious 1 second action!
- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13694206, hace 9 mesesI absolutely love it and am grateful for having such an easy to use extension, works especially well on phones.
I would love however a way to edit macros after they were created (moving/removing actions, adding delays, etc) as well as allowing wildcards in urls.
I would also love to have a repeatable macro (with a toggle) (for a number of times or indefinitely)
But overall really nice extension, thank you - Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 14698205, hace 9 mesesHas good potential, however seems related to URL. I sugest to be able to flag macro as automaticaly triggered for one URL or actionnable. Macro name should be an field as duplicate macro can't be loaded with the same url.
Waiting with impatience to get this kind of improvement. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 15124846, hace 10 mesesThe new update fixed the issue where it would randomly forget the last action of the macro.
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por p0358, hace un añoDoesn't even work at all with no cues as to why. It should but doesn't, I have a macro defined, adding delay manually does not help, cannot invoke on-demand, cannot have multiple macros per-site either, non-intuitive.

publicado el hace un añoThe latest version includes a user interface to manually execute the macro. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Kyle, hace un año
- Se valoró con 3 de 5por Keitho, hace un añoI'm hunting for a replacement for imacros which is no longer in existence. This looks promising. My use case: when I open an email in my gmail that I want to kill forever, I'd like to be able to create a filter to delete that one email and others from the same sender. I DON'T want the macro to run on EVERY email!! Any chance you can add custom macros, not triggered simply by the url?

Needs a delay mechanism before selecting a field that depends on another field.Respuesta del desarrollador

It literally does absolutely nothing but show you a banner claiming that it's recording a macro. But it isn't. I tried 3 times. The macro was never there after I finished recording it.

publicado el hace 2 añosA bug that prevented saving the macro on newer Firefox versions has been fixed in version 0.7. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Naj, hace 2 añosWithout a "run" button, there's no way to tell if it does anything. And there is no "edit" screen to walk through the macro.

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por JM, hace 3 añosThe extension works for some sites. Saves me time from clicking on repetitive links. I wish i can add a slight delay to clicking on the link. Otherwise excellent work.

- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 16207455, hace 5 añosToo many errors trying to create a macro asuch as page repeating too quickly or page not found.
- Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 15690182, hace 5 añosThe idea is brilliant! However sometimes it doesn't recognize site and macro is not started automatically or done partly. You cannot force to play the macro, because if you click on the icon, recorded macro will be lost. Recorded macro steps cannot be edited or listed.
- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Steve, hace 6 añosReally enjoy using this Add-on, saves the few vital seconds when filling in repetitive forms on frequently used web pages.
One improvement would be to enable the user to edit the macros with a simple text based approach.
Currently if you need to edit some text the Macro is entering you need to recreate the whole Macro. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por David Rowlinson, hace 6 añosGreat for my particular needs. Also Developer has been very responsive. Would just like the option to allow Permissions on complete website, i,e, "Https://Example."
- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 15216117, hace 6 añosThis extension is really useful for filling forms. I have a suggestion; I combine this extension with another (Snap Link) which allows me to enter say 15 of the links to different forms. However, SiteMacro states this: "SiteMacro did not execute a macro: Page repeated too quickly." Is there a way to get around it or reduce the timer? By default, snaplink opens a new link every 50 ms, and I increased it to 500 ms, yet there is still the same issue. Is there something I am missing (like reducing the delay required for the macro)? Also, can it close a tab after it is done executing a macro?
Edit: I looked at the source code and found the throttle limit to be 10 seconds, so for now I downloaded it and built it again (with the change of 10000 to 25)Respuesta del desarrollador
