the idea of an extension made to completely yeet ai garbage to the shadow realm and only show pictures/stuff before it's rise is pretty awesome! but sadly, this extension doesn't really work because when i search something on DuckDuck go, ai garbage shows up (even though the "hide ai images/stuff" is on) and when i search something using this extension, then surprise surprise: ai generated garbage still shows up! I'm pretty disappointed with this :( (i hope they'll fix it someday)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Doesn't work if you need to research something cutting edge but if you're looking for recipes, troubleshooting software that's been around a bit then it's necessary to use this to get around the AI slop listicles that infest this dead internet.

You can have the same effect by creating a custom search engine URL in your Firefox settings but I find using this add-on to be more streamlined.

in default results it works, but when you go on google image or pinterest it still shows IA pictures and things from the last few months

Most of the time i use duckduckgo. But for certain things, like search music in youtube is great

The idea is good but it doesn't really do that much and i still see AI when i go to image. So, doesn't really deliver on it's purpose.

Literally makes a Google search useless. It needs better parameters than 'before 2022 BAD' ! So dumb.

Slop Evader helps me search the Internet with ease. I am so grateful to be able to find factual information again, peruse images of real historical art (as opposed to slop pastiches) and avoid overused punctuation and sentence constructions. Thank you Slop Evader!!!!!!!
