- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Ducky, hace 2 añosThe webpage pop-ups and emails (acquired from your ChatGPT data which is an interesting choice in itself) are way too overbearing and unnecessary. If people are interested, they will sign up.
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18068643, hace 2 añosIn ChatGPT, the extension is great, but outside of ChatGPT, it is extremely annoying. It opens tabs without asking and when you're not using ChatGPT. Update: The developer "responded" by making not opening tabs a $10/mo "feature".
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Chris C, hace 2 añosWhile the actual ChatGPT functionality integrates fairly nicely (e.g. folders), the "Superpower Daily" stuff is simply unacceptable.
The automatic subscription to an email newsletter is bad but at least you can unsubscribe/auto-delete them. But automatically opening the website version randomly with seemingly no option to disable it is completely unacceptable. Disabling the newsletter in the settings did not prevent this behaviour.
I consider that to essentially be malware and is exactly the kind of behaviour I'd expect from adware.
While the newsletter is disclosed, hiding it in the fine print at the end of the extension description is hostile. Auto-subscribing is a hostile. Opening tabs automatically (which is not disclosed) is just plain malicious.
I have concerns trusting the privacy of this extension given the other problematic behaviour. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Gudyns, hace 2 añosGreat extension but the random opening a new tab for an update or when you start the browser without an option to disable it just doesn't make me comfortable using it.
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Dragonator, hace 2 añosIt started periodically opening a new tab to their homepage. Without user input, or any warning of any kind. This is just a NO NO! 🤌

publicado el hace 2 añosHi,
It's a common practice for many free extension to open a donation tab every time you update the extension. With every update, instead of opening a donation tab to ask you for money, I open the newsletter tab and provide you some value by sharing the most recent AI news. Keep in mind, this only happens when we release a new update for the extension. The extension never randomly opens new tab on its own.
Best,
Saeed - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 17983634, hace 2 añosI really wanted to love it and tried three times over the last four months or so. It's buggy as hell.

publicado el hace 2 añosHi,
You must have not given it permission to run on your tab. There are way more features in this extension than just opening a new tab. Please give it another try, and make sure it's running on your ChatGPT page. We also have a discord channel. Feel free to join for faster help https://discord.gg/superpower-chatgpt-1083455984489476220 - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 17969577, hace 2 añosTook my email for a mailing list? No.
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Happy, hace 2 añosHarvests the email connected to your ChatGPT account without your permission and signs you up to random email lists.
Developer could have easily added a popup asking if users wanted to be signed up but hides behind the reason that "it was in out privacy policy, you should have read that". Very scummy behavior.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 2 añosThe newsletter is part of this extension. It's mentioned in our privacy policy, which is listed on the extension page. You can read the privacy policy before you download the extension.
People love our newsletter and read it daily. But if you don't want to receive the email newsletter, you can unsubscribe with one click, and you won't receive any email from us anymore. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Mhisani, hace 2 añosConstant popups whenever an update is given. sometimes multiple times a day, ad ,ad ,ad ,ad. whilst i accept that the addon says you must sign up for newsletter I do not agree that personal data should be pulled from openai to create an email sub. Addon has nice toys but gets annoying when you're doing other things, get two pages open. back to chatgpt and an update log with ads while i'm watchiing a film too. Great premise but a little murky on irritants. Even uninstalling the addon takes me to yet another webpage for some work from home crap. You're the product.

publicado el hace 2 añosI'm not sure what ads you are referring to, but there is absolutely no ads in this extension. We do have a popular newsletter that our users love to read to stay up to date with all the AI news. But if that bothers you, you can simply disable it with one click and you won't see it again. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 11609870, hace 2 añosStole email address and started sending emails without permission. Super shady. Avoid this one!

- Se valoró con 1 de 5por stirante, hace 2 añosHarvested my email from requests to ChatGPT and started sending me a newsletter. No option to remove my email from their database, no option to opt out of this, no info on how the data is stored. The options to disable newsletter and changelog doesn't even work.
