por Usuario de Firefox 12340349, hace 7 añosThe only problem as I see it so far, is the order of tabs on restore is reversed, and 2 specific tabs, have quirks on that. Tab 1, and whatever tab I was focused on upon closing FF last session.
First, after I close FF, when I reopen it the tabs load in reverse order. Can I assume its because the tabs open next to the current tab, but each time a new tab is opened it is inserted closest to the current tab, as opposed to the end of the queue of related tabs if that makes sense. Im sure theres a more technical way to say that, but thats the best Ive got.
Let say I have 50 tabs open. Im looking at tab 20, I click a link to open a new tab, that new tab is tab 21 pushign the old 21 to position 22. Still from tab 20 I click another link to open another tab and becomes the new tab 21, and the previous 21 is now 22, and 22 becomes 23.
To solve the reverse order issue, I need to open FF, reclose FF, then reopen it.
Secondly, I also note that the first tab of a previous session is always still in Tab 1 slot as it should be... and the tab I was focused on when I closed the session, even if say Tab 40, is now Tab 2 upon session restore, the rest are in reverse order.
I also note with another addon that modifies a limited functionality inbuilt FF Quantum feature, the inbuilt feature operates first, then the more customisable addon changes it, as opposed to simply replacing he inbuilt feature. Is that part of the reason for reverse order loading of tabs maybe? Is there an about: config setting I need to tweak?
But awesome work so far, once I found this and a decent speed dial approximation, I updated to Quantum. Until then I was holding out.

For some reason, my custom settings reset to default once or twice a year. It could be my mistake, but just two hours of not noticing can wipe out all previous saves.
It’d be much less of a headache if the default values were a bit higher, like saving at least 50 sessions and auto-saving every 30 minutes. That way, we’d have a little buffer. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Lucas, hace 3 díasGreat extension, after last update, I had to remove extension and related files, and install again, after that all sessions became to auto save again normally! Thank you

I tried removing and reinstalling the extension but I have no way of opening sessions anymore. I can only click on each link one by one. If this is fixed, I'll revise my review.

What makes it worse, is the author's poor command of the English language. In Settings, file paths are not shown, and apparently cannot be set. All in all the whole thing seems too complicated to me. On top, when experimenting to make sense of the extension, it repeatedly crashes and takes the browser with it. A waste of time.

My waterfox session file must have been corrupted and it restored it from the recovery one (previous.json) that is somehow 2 months old (thank you mozilla for not updating it more frequently). I immediately went to tab session manager to restore; but surprise surprise, all the backups are gone. At some point it seems the automatic backup feature stopped working and somehow even the older sessions disappeared. Idk if it was a browser update, error or that they were older than X and automatically deleted.
TLDR, even having this extension enabled to prevent the loss of my session, I still lost my session. I will either look for an alternative extension and/or start backuping the session file manually. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Arbeitor, hace 17 días

For example, if i have 2 windows and 50 tabs on each, it saves and opens 4x windows and 200 tabs. I use this extension for a long time now (years), without complaint. I don't know if it's firefox's fault or the extension (probably a firefox thing). Please take a look at this Sienori, thank you!
### 20250608 EDIT: I don't know what happened yesterday, but today it seems to be working fine as always, as it should, so i came back to edit the review, because, again, you've done an Awesome work sienori! You 've saved us many hours from being lost! Thanks, and please keep it up!! :-) - Se valoró con 5 de 5por FreeSpirit, hace 25 díasI tried Tab Manager Plus but found it USELESS. I use STG all the time, so unfortunately until this bug is sorted, TSM is a non-starter for me. Which is unfortunate because it is highly recommended and I would like to use it. (P.S.: I run a Mac using Monterey so quite old, nevertheless, this post is accurate as at 2025-05-08.)
- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Dego, hace 2 mesesWorks really well. I would like functionality to name windows and have that title persisting after saving and restoring a window or session. I'm using extension Window Titler that prefixes the name of the window with [MyTitle], followed by the name of whatever tab is currently open (so window title changes dynamically). That functionality is perfect, but that title is obviously lost when window is saved.
