por Animiles, hace 6 añosIt looks great and it works great, but it lacks two features. Once you've highlighted some text you cannot un-highlight said text. The only way to do that is to remove all highlights and manually highlight everything else again, which is rather tedious. The other feature is a save feature. I want to keep highlights for future reference. Of course not everyone needs this, so it would be nice if this feature could be turned on or off. But it would be a great feature to have.

The fact that it doesn't save the markings is an advantage most of the time, because I don't have to worry about forgetting clearing Pages that I'll probably never visit again (what would surely clutter browser memory uselessly.) When I need to keep something, I do the obvious, I copy the text to a file, which I can access off-line any time.

However, it would be better if this add-on saves the marks. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Nicolas, hace 3 añosThe best highlighter add-on I've seen so far. It's not save-able (maybe a future option?) but it's great for one-time use, to keep my place on a long page when I come back to it.

I have only one question: Why can you not make whatever changes would be necessary to allow highlights TO BE PERMANENT--so when one closes the page and revisits it later, ones highlights reappear intact?? My question is all the more urgent given that other text-highlighting extensions (NOT that they are good overall) are able to do so.

Dies könnte auch per default vom Entwickler aktiviert werden (non-default Settings: "Chose color for highlighting in the Context Menu.").

1) Custom hotkeys, or at least the ones NOT COLLIDING with the browser's hotkeys... In Firefox, F9 toggles "reader view", which also resets all highlights and makes that hotkey useless... :(
2) More colors. Why not just let user add custom color using RGB? :) - Se valoró con 4 de 5por nospmisannah, hace 5 años

Even the side arrows are clickable to take you right back to the highlight on the page. Fantastic. If I could make a feature request that would make it perfect. When I'm highlighting and release the mouse button, a small popup near the mouse that just shows the colors would be a huge time saver for documents that I want to put many highlights in before screenshots. Thank you.
