por kelza, hace 2 añosHello, since quite recently, Tineye seems unable to be used inside Facebook, which SERIOUSLY reduces its interest and usability. Is this normal? I took the precaution to verify that it was up to date before asking, of course. Is Facebook doing its best to protect scammers using fake/stolen pictures?
EDIT : I'm a little disappointed by your answer because iirc Tineye was working just fine on Facebook until very recently... I'm using Firefox, and there isnt much more explanation I can provide at this point...
Anyway, thanks for all the good services provided so far, but this will make Tineye much less useful in the future.

publicado el hace 2 añosHello! Thank you for using TinEye! I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with our extension.
Please note that most social media sites, like Facebook and Instagram, restrict us from crawling their images, so TinEye will not commonly return results from these sites.
If you believe that the TinEye extension isn't functioning properly in your browser, please provide an additional explanation of the issue and I will be happy to investigate that for you.
Cheers!

There are already too many apps/services/whatever that try to harvest your data; I'm definitely not keeping an optional one. I guess the one point in their favor is that they notified me of it, but still, if the options are "let me harvest all your data carte blanche" and "uninstall," then there's not really a choice. I'm out, and everyone else should be too.

publicado el hace 2 mesesHi! Thank you for sharing your feedback.
The TinEye Extension does not collect personal data or track the sites you visit. When you right-click an image and select 'Search image on TinEye,' this sends the image URL to our servers so you can see the search results on TinEye.com.
When you install our extension, we are required to get your permission to share these image URLs with the extension. This is the only data used for the reverse image search—TinEye does not collect or store any other information. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Lavonne A Gaddis-Adams, hace 4 meses

And so I got this extension, and I looked it up, and it found me some a list of results.
I ordered them by size because I wanted the highest resolution.
It gave me a link to an article and image, both no longer available.
I looked them up on the wayback machine, and I didn't get anything for the article, but I did get the picture. And so I've got a really huge higher resolution image that I was looking for.
Thank you. <3 - Se valoró con 4 de 5por TheBigCheeseBurger, hace un año
